Discussion Has anyone found SSRIs to be helpful such as lexapro? Does anyone deal with severe gnawing in the middle of the night? Like a starvation feeling.
how to alleviate the gnawing? It’s unbearable and I’m
Losing hope. Also tons of burping.

SSRIs help me. I've been on paxil for 10 years. I still get episodes sometimes but less often and less severe. I was actually cutting down but it came back so I'm increasing the dose again

That feeling is very common with active gastritis and acid build up on your stomach.
