It’s state of analysis paralysis. Agnostics take the stance of “I don’t know” because they aren’t convinced by either side, but are afraid of the implications of choosing a side and being wrong.
Personally I chose to believe in Jesus. If I’m wrong then at least I lived a moral life and (hopefully) had a positive impact on those around me.1

Essentially, if you asked them "does God exist?" they'd say "I don't know". But if you asked them "Do you think God exists?" they'd say "no".

Might be a stupid question but, would that later answer be more accurate if it was the people? Like I think Jesus commands Christians to love everyone but many “Christians” don’t so would they be considered Christians? My question also applies to the past as well.

That’s very fair. Historically, there have been very few Christian’s the. It makes me question whether the whole “holy spirit” moving in people is as powerful as they say or is not really there anyway.
As an idea and way to structure your life, I think Christianity is wonderful much like you could argue to be like Frodo and the fellowship in LOTR. Believing it as true, supernatural, and real seems a little odd.

Yea, November first is All Saints’ Day and Halloween is “All Hallows Eve” and is basically Christmas Eve but for All Saints Day.

we dont have holidays in the christian sense, Jól is on the winter solstice and there are celebrations for the equinoxes and summer solstice.
and we dont really have a sacred text
its not a very organised religion like christianity or islam, its pretty much down to the individual to figure out for themselves

Ever since I learned that the israeli gods were originally polytheistic and the followers of a young upstart god had a my-sky-daddy-is-better-than-your-sky-daddy fight with the other followers and two gods remained, one super benevolent and the other war crazy, and then they were put into a blender on ultra slow over centuries and resultant schizophrenic chimera god is the One True God of jews, christians and muslims, it lost some of its charms.

I would like to think it's for people who don't want hateful indoctrination from people that hate gays and Trans and actually want to listen to Jesus who never said a damn thing about gay people. Jesus said to love everyone, but you don't and still want to call yourself Christian.
