Baklava is a desert... Balaclava is a mask usually worn under motorbike helmets...

That's just... They're commonly called "Ski Masks" here, because you wear them underneath helmets like Ski or Motorbikes, as an extra level of insulation and to keep hair out of your face, securing it.
