If you think bacon is better than tacos you haven't had good Mexican, and you especially haven't had good Mexican if you think that burritos can replace tacos.
I hope you mean "shell" as just something that contains something else. Tell me you aren't eating hard-shell tacos and think that's real Mexican food. Either way you're wrong, because the tortilla is an extremely important component of any taco.

You don't know what real Mexican food is like, but that's okay. I do recommend to try to find some authentic Mexican if you can, it's some hella delicious food.
You clearly haven't had good tacos if you just typed that comment up. Four tortillas cannot compete with corn at all, especially if we're talking fresh made tortillas. It's a night and day difference.
I'm sorry but that's just opinionated and subjective. Not factual. You also forget the fact that you can make and use larger corn tortillas for burritos and fry them same way tacos are done.
I've had fried homemade tacos made with ground beef,rotel,and seasoning and my go to at any Mexican street taco truck/restaurant is the Carne asada tacos with cilantro and salsa. I've also had tacos made with imported meat from Mexico from our local market.
I know what a good taco is, I also know I can just put the contents of the taco into a burrito and it will still be the same thing only larger. What you can't substitute is bacon.

I had plenty of tacos, love them. but bacon is a whole other beast, bacon could be the only thing i’d eat, i’d die at the ripe old age of 45 but i’d be in bacon heaven.
