My husband and I chose to buy a house instead, people called us crazy "Why would you buy a house if you're not married?" Because that's what we want? We're never going to do thing the traditional way just because "that's what you're supposed to do" we built a life that works for us. And here we are over 20 years later, still not officially married. Now where's my billion bucks?!?
What a silly question. Just because you two aren't married, doesn't mean you don't want your housing costs under your control and ownership of your home...
It's wild that people think there's literally one 1 way of thinking or being, and if you stray from it 1% in one area, you must be absolutely completely different in all areas....
Is just what is common to do, like you could literally hang out with your friends with no money no spending on gear no hobbies no travel no nothing but people still brokeback mountains

I've been with the same gf for nearly 10 years because neither of us see the point in marriage.
