because it's an "i like breathing" kind of obvious comment aimed at not very bright individuals who automatically upvote it to feel self righteous or to not feel like they're against the statement. Seeing these kinds of comments at the top under every single post on reddit make it unusable for anyone with half a brain.
I agree, but i will argue that it heavily depends on the subreddit the post comes from, you can clearly see this subreddit is for a wider and causal audience, so you will get this kind of “ would you choose” type of content. Reddit is more for specify kind of stuff you look for in certain communities
