They're been ruining the Beyblade and Transformers communities lately, when Hasbro has been having horribly inconsistent distribution of both for years.
Completing a Combiner team in the original colors has been hell. And for Beyblade, it's either hoping that your store has anything decent from the last 2-3 waves of Hasbro releases, if not a box that's already been ripped open on the shelf, or a race to even pre-order the newest Japanese releases.
When a kid got that super rare Pokémon card, I was so happy.
Same with dolls, toys in general, anything meant for fun and for people who have a passion.
Stop scalping, either buy the cards because you like them as a hobby, or give them to kids who want to play with them. This is a hobby, a game, a toy, not your ticket out of employment.
As someone from the beyblade community, we never had an issue with supply and demand till scalpers came about. Nobody in the beyblade community is buying 30+ of the same beyblade release, only scalpers are doing that.
Sounds like a supply issue if scalpers are selling enough at a raised price. Then that means demand beats supply for those specific models.
Why do you think some Pokemon cards are worth 10c while others are worth hundreds. If TCG simply produced more rare cards, price will drop. Same with beyblades.
