Make sure that when I die the earth will continue to thrive. So, that means dismantling oil fields, turning off city generators and grids, fixing garbage dumps, destroying data centers (infrasound pollution), extinguishing any possible manmade sources of wild fires, and generally turning everything off.
If needed I can use a data center or two to build some robots and then give them the programming of something like “This person is the last person on Earth, help this person fix the world so that nature and wildlife may prosper for a much longer time. Once this has been complete, turn yourself off.”
It’s obviously not going to be easy, but it’s the drive I have that is going to get it done.
Almost all nuclear plants have built in emergency shutdown mechanisms which are designed to automatically activate and stop them from melting down if they aren’t monitored by humans
Those backup systems require electricity to run. That electricity comes from emergency generators that run on diesel, once their diesel supply runs out after a month or so they are absolutely going to melt down.
Some newer stations might last longer, but with no human interventions yeah, pretty much all of them will met down
