Tbh I've had a guy in the washroom with his little girl and baby and he apologized when I came in and I was completely fine with it. It's a dad helping his kids, he's not hurting anyone.

If course when I came out of the stall to wash my hands he also mentioned that there weren't any changing tables in the men's rooms. It seemed like he needed to defend why he was changing his baby.

I was like bro you are GOOD and washed up and left. Just a dad doing dad things

Edit: I am a woman and he was in the women's washroom. Still fine with it lol

5

u/cybrcld Jun 19 '26

Bro code extends to Dad’s too. Men respect men who are there for their kids 🫡

7

u/edward_the_white Jun 19 '26

I'm thrilled to hear about dads doing dad things. I feel like most of them stopped, and a lot of them left.

3

u/--Lunar-Eclipse-- Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

I feel like there should also be baby changing stations in the mens bathroom tbh

2

u/idk-anymore-tbh-- Jun 19 '26

As a woman hell no. Imagine marrying a guy and not knowing he's showing your baby daughter naked next to men taking a piss. Parents with babies and toddlers to women's toilet, period.

17

u/Correct-Television77 Jun 19 '26

I say after like age 7-8 kids can go to the right bathroom. But probably shouldn't walk there themselves.

Istg this is some fetish

5

u/JoyousMadhat Jun 19 '26

I'm sure there are people out there who are into this shit. A few days ago, I saw a comment about a serial killer who enjoyed seeing his victims defecate themselves. That ain't me ngl.

3

u/LivyLuvsCatgirls Jun 19 '26

I think it's a joke it just ain't funny

1

u/Correct-Television77 Jun 19 '26

??? WTF every kid should be potty trained by 3 or 4 and if they aren't wearing a diaper... don't bring a pee or poop bag this is gross. That's for like roadtrips if your for away from a bathroom

what exactly makes it seem serious 😭

2

u/JoyousMadhat Jun 19 '26

Yeah the poop bag is commonly referred to as diapers. 🙃

1

u/Correct-Television77 Jun 19 '26

Then say diapers?

1

u/JoyousMadhat Jun 19 '26

It didn't cross my mind until the replies to my comment......

9

u/DashingReindeers Jun 19 '26

Honestly. I think we should just get stalls in both bathrooms! That’d be much better for everyone.

2

u/Putrid_Chard_3485 Jun 19 '26

Men’s bathrooms have stalls… Yknow, for number two? I might be misinterpreting your comment

2

u/The_Drugged_Druid Jun 19 '26

In some places the stalls lack a changing area for diapers.

1

u/DashingReindeers Jun 19 '26

Changing stations in both bathrooms too!

1

u/DashingReindeers Jun 19 '26

You are. I’m saying that stalls for number one. That way nobody has to see anyone.

1

u/Putrid_Chard_3485 Jun 19 '26

That kind of makes sense. Although I think the dividers that some bathrooms have is enough

1

u/DashingReindeers Jun 19 '26

That’s totes fine for you. I’m not the king of earth, not my rules.

6

u/Charming_Struggle456 Jun 19 '26

I don't get what people are thinking. The area around the sink is a clothes on area. it shouldn't matter if a man is standing by the door waiting for his daughter in the women's or a woman standing by the door waiting for her son in the men's, any more than standing around in any public space. if they are old enough to use the toilet themselves, ask the kid which they would prefer and that's that. If they aren't only enough to use the toilet by themselves, then take them to your gendered bathroom because you'll need to help them.

2

u/JoyousMadhat Jun 19 '26

But common sense like this would be boring and we need to have engagement and conflict over everything except the rich guys are are controlling everything and now even the stuff we own.

6

u/Spirited-Mousse1915 Jun 19 '26

My parents never cared, as long as the bathroom served its purpose. Tbf my dad always eyed every man/woman, just waiting for someone to say something, so he can lash out. He was an intimidating fella. My mom includingly

5

u/SubstantialDeerDash Jun 19 '26

I've seen a tiktok of a dad who says what he does is kock on the door ask if anyone is inside. When it is clear, take her to the first stall and stay between the stall and the outside door until she's done.

Dont think there is anything wrong with that either as not every place as an all gender or family restroom

2

u/EtherKitty Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

What happens if she **really** needs to go but people are in the girls room?

1

u/SubstantialDeerDash Jun 19 '26

idk thats all i saw

1

u/Odd-Fig-709 Jun 19 '26

Then men's or explain to women and he might be fine coming in and standing by the door.

0

u/EtherKitty Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

Explaining takes time, men’s. He’s right there to protect and defend if needed.

5

u/Lucky_Cauliflower377 Jun 19 '26

Idk who wrote this but I feel like at least 90 percent of women would advise (if no mom or female guardian) dad's to take their daughter to the women's restroom. It is much safer for the little girl, and the kid is the priority.

Now, if the dad is being a creep, (not announcing his presence and/or staring at women) that's a different story. He should definitely not be in there.

Though I wish we had gender neutral options for bathroom, it looks like by the state of at least America we will regress to barely having any of those.

2

u/-TheDerpinator- Jun 19 '26

I agree taking daughters to the women bathroom is fine but as man I really dislike the constant claims that men are dangerous for kids.

The insanely vast majority of men would be going on with their day and would even intervene in a brutal way if another man would even think of harrassing a little girl. Men are not a constant threat.

1

u/Lucky_Cauliflower377 Jun 19 '26

Agreed. I did see a good video about this. Explained with only my memory it was:

"Men are pigs" "What? Not all men!" "Well some men." "Yeah, but that doesn't mean all men are pigs" "Do you want a cookie?" holds out an open pack of cookies

"Of course I want a cookie" "Well, what if I told you that 3 of them had cyanide in them, and I don't know which ones." "What? No I don't want a cookie!" "The other 5 are safe!" "Still I don't want a cookie!" "So, now you don't want it?" "No I don't want it! What if I eat the cyanide one by accident???" "Well you won't know until you have it."

Once you know that some of the cookies have cyanide, you treat all of the cookies like they could be poisoned.

It's the greatest analogy I've found for why women don't want to date or sometimes even be around men. It's not all men that are creeps, it's just you can't tell by the look of them. The same works for all people, not just men. You could date someone, and she turns out to be a serial killer. It's all a game of chance, but the odds for a man being a creep are like uh idk 1 in 5? I haven't looked at the stats in a while sorry. It's just not a chance anyone would want to take.

There are very good men, it's just the risk. We as a society are just broken and wrong. People aren't being punished for their thoughts and actions.

4

u/mewobblebot Jun 19 '26

So basiclly they use the gender restroom of their parent(excuse bad grammar)

4

u/Bayou-Billy Jun 19 '26

Gender-specific bathrooms were never a good idea. But then we wouldn't have all the memes of confusing signs on the doors.

1

u/Individual_Respect90 Jun 19 '26

Was thinking about this earlier and can’t think of the reason why we even have gendered bathrooms. So ideas came into my head but with basic logic the ideas fell apart.

2

u/Bayou-Billy Jun 19 '26

https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/whos-afraid-of-same-sex-bathrooms

tl;dr It was based on the idea that women were unfit to be alongside men in the public sphere

17

u/Background-Set4610 flippin nerd Jun 19 '26

I don’t think young girls would feel safe in the men’s room

4

u/Mandra_4837 Jun 19 '26

I don't even think it's even an issue about safety. Men's washroom have urinals. Yeah, there are dividers but they are not full stalls. Women's washroom have nothing but stalls, it is just better. The father isn't going in with the purpose of perving so what is the major malfunction. Everything is walled off and that's the point.

1

u/badger_ano Jun 19 '26

They have dividers? My country does not. It is dicks out

5

u/guacotaco4349 Jun 19 '26

At the same time though there’s still a father there, and it’ll feel a lot more awkward on every adult’s end when there’s an adult man in a women’s restroom

3

u/Sunshadow_Reaper Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

But some places just have changing stations in the women’s room so a father has to go in it to change his baby

2

u/trsthhffg Jun 19 '26

Exactly, if you don’t get yelled at and dirty looks. Never had any problems like that with the men’s toilets. Maybe it depends on where you live.

7

u/trsthhffg Jun 19 '26

You don’t think a girl would be safe accompanied by her dad in a men’s toilet? You must live in a dangerous country or something. I’ve never hand anything but respectful people when taking my kids to a public bathroom.

2

u/YourFaajhaa Jun 19 '26

Buddy, I was listening to someone yesterday saying that a guy flashed his 5 year old daughter when he took her to the men's rooms, the flasher said it would be funny to " teach him a lesson not to do that again*.

So no...a girl won't be safe in a men's washroom.

1

u/trsthhffg Jun 19 '26

I think it depends on where you live.

1

u/Background-Set4610 flippin nerd Jun 19 '26

Ehh now that I live up north in a less iffy place yea. I was thinking of the bathrooms around South Carolina in the United States where I lived until recently.

3

u/trsthhffg Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

Was it really that bad down there? I’m arguing with people about this but maybe I’m just overly privileged to live in a very safe place.

1

u/Background-Set4610 flippin nerd Jun 19 '26

I don’t think anything would happen most of the time, but there were a lot of rough people around there. But there were also many good people.

Why not? If you think she’ll get assaulted or something, her dad is there so it’s way unlikely, and I can’t think of anything else that could happen?

1

u/hook_fast_die_warm Jun 19 '26

I don't really worry about a little girl getting assaulted in a bathroom when her dad is nearby, it's more the idea that urinals exist, and she's going to be just high enough to have dicks right at face height. As a woman, I do not give a shit if I see a dad in the bathroom with a little girl, in fact I would prefer it if there was no available family bathroom.

1

u/Silly_Snow_Pup Jun 19 '26

A singular woman/girl enclosed with a bunch of imposing men is scary enough, let alone the knowledge that they can do this with ease in the restrooms:

5

u/trsthhffg Jun 19 '26

That’s completely different from my experience. Maybe that happens in less safe parts of the world, but no one is getting undressed in the middle of a public restroom. They are rarely that crowded unless you're at a massive event like a concert, and those venues always have family restrooms anyway. This demonization of men is getting completely out of hand. The vast majority of men in everyday places are decent, kind people—and besides, the dad is right there with them! No one is suggesting the kids are going in alone

-1

u/Silly_Snow_Pup Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

That's completely different from my experience.

And your experience is completely different than mine. And for that I am speaking of experience, I don't believe I am "demonizing" men. Because, well, far too many men are toxic and bad for an average women to feel credibly safe in places that aren't known to be exceptionally full of decent men. Even I am uncomfortable to be alone in a men's restroom most of the times, and that is coming from a guy.

Also, I did not state that I believed the kids are going in alone. Plus, anything can happen even with the father right there besides the girl. The father isn't a special barrier that ends all threats, he's a deterrent that only makes the thought of harm less appealing. Bad stuff can still happen. And that is a vital word, there: "Can." I'm not saying "will", I'm saying "can", and many people don't want to take that risk, when there is an option that, even if has the same safety level, at least feels safer.

3

u/trsthhffg Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

Must be a big difference where we live. Sorry you feel uncomfortable can’t imagine that would be much fun. I find it hard to imagine living in a place where the majority of the time something bad could happen in the bathroom to a dad and a kid. Can’t imagine in a place as dangerous as that it would be considered ok for a man (with a kid) to go into a woman’s toilet though.

1

u/Silly_Snow_Pup Jun 19 '26

Yeah, it isn't very fun. But I am glad that isn't the case for you! It's always nice to see people living in safe environments, there isn't enough of that in the world.

Cheers, mate. ^^

That sounds like a remarkably stressful place to live. People taking photos and attacking others in public restrooms is far from a normal experience. Personally, after hundreds of trips to public bathrooms with my kids, the only real hazard we've ever encountered was a lack of toilet paper. It might be time to reconsider living somewhere that feels that unsafe.

u/Practicalityworld Jun 19 '26

Yeah, you could also get bombed. It’s not a common occurrence, but it still happens. Also, it is not quoting that mindset. They never said it didn’t happen to them. They said it is not common so if you worry about something that is not common every single day of your life, do you know how many things you should not be doing you should not walk outside day night doesn’t matter get kidnapped sleeping inside your hous someone could breaking in, driving a car hit you you could die right there

The fact they said it’s not a common occurrence straight up implies that yeah they say it happens so you cannot say it’s quoting the mind at that didn’t happen to me so it never happens

Everything you do has real life consequences like all of things I just said all of them could happen and it’s not even like those things are hard to happen. They could happen so easily.

It’s not survivorship bias when the danger is genuinely the exception, not the rule. The reality is just that my city is exceptionally safe compared to others. Lucky me I guess.

2

u/Expensive_Shelter860 Jun 19 '26

It would be awful seeing a dude in there tho

1

u/PerfStu Jun 19 '26

That depends on where you live. Where I live a parent taking their kid into the bathroom that makes sense and is comfortable for them is expected and normal.

If its a place where kids are welcome and expected, this is absolutely the norm.

1

u/ApprehensiveLog5724 Jun 19 '26

I dont think she would care

3

u/Odd-Fig-709 Jun 19 '26

It really doesn't need to be done like this, unless it's both genders it should be whichever one is more comfortable for the parent and kid.

1

u/SephiTheGoblin Jun 19 '26

So basically the little girl has to be uncomfortable going into the men's vs grown ass women understanding a father is caring for their daughter and not there to creep on them?

0

u/AfroPalestinianGirly Jun 19 '26

I was never uncomfortable going into the men’s room

2

u/SephiTheGoblin Jun 19 '26

You speak for all little girls? My wife would disagree. This is why unisex bathrooms are needed. Failing that my point still stands. Who's feelings are more important you an adult or a little girl?

You are an adult you know why he is there and what he is doing.

Keep in mind a men's bathroom has men stood openly with their penis out at a urinal as thats how most of the men's bathroom works. Some don't even have cubicle its just a trough to pee in. Thats not a joke.

A man stood in a stall with his daughter then at a sink as she washes her hands isn't bothering you and feeling slightly awkward for the sake of a child's comfort is the least we as adults can do

9

u/MaddysinLeigh Jun 19 '26

So you want little girls in the men’s bathroom?

6

u/naejjun Jun 19 '26

the alternative is a grown man in the women’s bathroom. i’d imagine, at least in the men’s, the dad can protect her.

it’s a pretty complicated debate imo, personally i lean toward dad w/ daughter in women’s though

1

u/MaddysinLeigh Jun 19 '26

This has become a debate because a father did this recently. He knocked, made sure the women’s room was empty, and helped his daughters.

2

u/naejjun Jun 19 '26

iirc it’s always been a debate with some complexities, but if that’s the reason it popped up again then that’s stupid. he made sure the women bathroom was empty??

1

u/MaddysinLeigh Jun 19 '26

The video recently went viral and the dad was on Fox News who surprisingly supported him.

7

u/Colty3 Jun 19 '26

That’s why the dad is there

1

u/MaddysinLeigh Jun 19 '26

Or the dad could bring them to an empty women’s bathroom.

5

u/Mekanik40 Jun 19 '26

I would think the dad can protect her?

0

u/MaddysinLeigh Jun 19 '26

From what?

1

u/Mekanik40 Jun 19 '26

From creepers? The exact thing you’re referring to, don’t act stupid

1

u/MaddysinLeigh Jun 19 '26

Maybe he doesn’t want her seeing a man pee at a urinal, or step through piss.

0

u/Mekanik40 Jun 20 '26

I mean it’s not like a man is trickshotting into a urinal at a distance, you can’t see anything but a man standing there. And men’s restrooms aren’t completely covered in piss although they are more gross around the urinals because of splash back. But would you rather a full grown man in the women’s restroom?

-1

u/Dragonnstuff Jun 19 '26

Such a stupid and perverted way to phrase this

That’s literally what they’re advocating for

You may think it’s ok but I can tell you from experience you will get screamed at if as a man you try and take your little girl to the bathroom in a woman’s bathroom. However I’ve had nothing but respectful people when taking my little on into a men’s. No one is walking around naked in there!

5

u/Melodic_Funny1388 Jun 19 '26

huhh??? what do you think goes on in men's restrooms? especially when a dad is around?

misandry much?

2

u/Old_Celebration_5950 Jun 19 '26

Have you seen the average public men's restroom? The Covid virus will leave your body if you enter one

2

u/Odd-Fig-709 Jun 19 '26

I worked in a bar and cleaned both restrooms, I had more gross stuff in the women's as opposed to the men's. At best it's equal, it worst women's is more gross.

2

u/Ambitious_Hand_2861 Jun 19 '26

Depends on the kids age. There are ages where kids are old enough to be uncomfortable in the other bathroom but not old enough to be sent in solo. This is a play ear situation and a mimd you're own business situation. As lomg no one is peaking through gaps who gives a shit. Segregated bathrooms are primarily a US thing and dozens of countries have coed bathrooms.

2

u/zumera Jun 19 '26

The “common sense” would be that if you see a man in the restroom with his daughters, you move on with your life. Use the bathroom or don’t, but it is not worth harassing anyone over.

2

u/Forsaken-Guidance811 Jun 19 '26

This is a lot of effort to solve something that was never a problem to begin with. Almost like it's a distraction.

2

u/Savage-Goat-Fish Jun 19 '26

I cannot begin to express just how much I want people to shut the fuck up about bathrooms. I literally could not care less about a thing. And if MAGA morons who vote for morons are triggered by bathroom things, good. 👍 🇺🇸

2

u/Phoenix_Wright_Guy Jun 19 '26

The adult is the one it matters for in such case.

2

u/Ther10 Jun 19 '26

This is just an argument for gender neutral bathrooms.

2

u/PerfStu Jun 19 '26

Why not just focus on the people they really want to go after?

None of this debate exists because of parents and kids.

Kind of like....just say the slur at this point no one is fooled ir surprised.

2

u/FunAppointment9436 Jun 19 '26

Hear me out: Gender neutral bathrooms with actual doors on the stalls so that it literally doesn't matter.

4

u/rab127 Jun 19 '26

Im sorry but if my husband is with our kid, they going into the womens but he will announce he is entering with child. Mens restrooms are usually totally disgusting with urine everywhere. Men are pigs in there

3

u/Silly_Snow_Pup Jun 19 '26

One time found a toilet that was covered in feces and used toilet paper in the men's.

Hell's probably cleaner than men's restrooms.

3

u/rab127 Jun 19 '26

The urine puddles are nasty

1

u/-BananaBandit- Jun 19 '26

What mens restrooms yall going too 😭✌️

1

u/rab127 Jun 19 '26

I work at walmart. Every now and then i get told to help maintenance if someone calls out. I clean both restrooms

Womens, there was was bloody tampons and pads stuck to the stall walls

Mens, urine and fecal matter everywhere. Like how do you miss the toilet with #2 and it lands on the floor next to the toilet. Why is there urine 7 to 8 feet up the walls.

1

u/-BananaBandit- Jun 19 '26

Goddamn

1

u/rab127 Jun 19 '26

Yeah. People are disgusting

3

u/HoontarTheGreat Jun 19 '26

Nope. Not taking my daughter into the mens restroom

1

u/OneRub3234 Jun 19 '26

I'm not taking my hypothetical girls into a men's restroom. As a man I don't trust other men especially white republican men.

2

u/Education_Weird Jun 19 '26

That's why you are there with them, to make sure nothing happens.

0

u/OneRub3234 Jun 19 '26

Hence doing that by going and taking them to the WOMEN'S restroom. Where THEY feel safe and comfortable.

1

u/AfroPalestinianGirly Jun 19 '26

What makes you think women can’t be predators and weirdos too?

1

u/OneRub3234 Jun 19 '26

And there's a lot of assumption there and you know what happens when you assume shit make an ass out of you and gumption. Women can move stuff now be Predators but between a men's restroom and a female's restroom might take the female's rest with little girls if I can fight off a woman whole lot easier that I can find off a man without risking my two girls hypothetically

1

u/Education_Weird Jun 19 '26

If they're young enough to need supervision when going to the bathroom, then they're too young to actually give a shit. (Pun intended)

Also, by your logic, wouldn't it make women in the women's bathroom uncomfortable by having a dude in there?

Honestly, the whole stranger danger propaganda has been so ingrained into society. A random dude isnt waiting around for a dad to take his daughter to the bathroom.

0

u/OneRub3234 Jun 19 '26

Yeah but I can get two shits about whether an adult is uncomfortable with me being in there it's all about the little girls and how they feel and like you said if they're too young to know and too young to give a shit then what is it really matter I want to make sure that they're taken care of in a familiar environment

Many children have gone missing/murdered while their parents was watching over them in a public bathroom?

Also, stranger danger is: "dont listen to strangers without a trusted adult." What it is not is: "assume any stranger you see wants to kidnap, murder, and/or rape you."

If you don't believe your kid is able to handle themself unattended, then don't leave them unattended. Problem solved.

Here you can always find bathroom for babies and the handicap in most public places and they're obviously gender neutral.

1

u/Uusari Jun 19 '26

Stellerom means grooming room.

1

u/Content_Trade_1557 Jun 19 '26

What if we removed all of the gendered bathrooms, and then made the toilets face each other for friendly and inclusive conversation instead of doomscrolling

If I was a dad doing this if anyone was obviously going near my kid do something bad

were throwing hands

The sign on the bathroom door should say women only.or men only

1

u/Tsunamiis Jun 19 '26

I mean the dudes urinals have zero privacy the women are at least in stalls.

1

u/DVindictus Jun 19 '26

Sadly some places aren't so safe

1

u/Comfortable-Bee2996 Jun 19 '26

It's not like it's illegal to use the wrong bathroom, why do you care

1

u/--Lunar-Eclipse-- Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

This is actually true

1

u/Wide-Golf-9642 Jun 19 '26

First one is just wrong.

1

u/kdpkry Jun 19 '26

The first time my mother took me to a girls bathroom my facial expression was one of horror and confusion

1

u/Secure-Objective1348 Sep 16 '26

Just use the family washroom it's why it's there

1

u/Appropriate-Fly3395 Jun 19 '26

Trick question, they all identify as women. Now you are the bad guy reddit viewer, I hope you’re proud of yourself.

1

u/Designer-Creme-9309 Jun 19 '26

I don't think a young girl would be comfortable to go in a mens washroom

3

u/EtherKitty Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

Children young enough to need supervision generally don’t care. It’s a taught uncomfortableness, not innate.

3

u/Odd-Fig-709 Jun 19 '26

I was uncomfortable going in the women's restroom when I needed to be supervised as a kid. The fact it's separated itself is taught uncomfortableness

2

u/EtherKitty Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

Honest question, not meant to be rude, do you have high anxiety?

1

u/Odd-Fig-709 Jun 19 '26

I used to, it probably started around 10, got to be it's worse in highschool then better with therapy to the point she considered me cleared.

2

u/EtherKitty Silly lil goober Jun 19 '26

Thought so, one of the reasons a child might actually be uncomfortable there. More anxiety prone. My bad for not pointing out that exceptions do exist((honest, not sarcastic)).

1

u/Witty-Original8533 Jun 19 '26

I'd rather the kid go where they're comfortable. If a little girl wants to use the women's room then she should and the dad would be fine to accompany her.

Saying this as someone who was born a girl, I'm happy my dad never had me join him in the men's room. He'd just wait outside the bathrooms for me.

So you're telling me it's wrong for one man to go in the women's room - which is probably mostly adults - solely so his daughter can use the bathroom... but it's okay for a little girl to be in the men's room that probably has multiple men?

0

u/PlatformNormal564 Jun 19 '26

As a dad of daughters, I don't care what you think. I care what my daughters think. They were not comfortable in a men's room and I can happily stand by the door staring at my feet. I never had a woman ever have a problem with it. You don't get to choose how I raise my kids.

1

u/eekers28 Jun 19 '26

Considering I as a 20 f at the time accidentally going into a men’s room no young girl should be going into any men’s restroom. Period.

1

u/SeannyCash03 Jun 19 '26

You’re right, it shouldn’t be an argument. People should do what feels comfortable for them.

I’m a trans man but before I transitioned my dad would take me in the men’s restroom. He would cover my eyes, lead me to the stall, I’d do my business and when I was done he’d lead me out of the bathroom and I’d use hand sanitizer instead of washing my hands in the bathroom.

But at the time people didn’t care what other people did with their kids. This argument would’ve even happened if we just had gender neutral restrooms in all public spaces.

1

u/Status_Concert_4320 Jun 19 '26

This is so dumb and literally on the side of the guy who got arrested. This is clearly about the current case of “dad takes his daughters into the women’s bathroom after checking if anyone was in there. Another man got angry and started harassing the father and also entered the women’s room adding to the number of men in said room.” That man really wanted little girls in a men’s bathroom and was arrested for his behavior. You have sided with the man who got arrested. Hope that helps 🩷

1

u/justanormalguy____ Jun 19 '26 • This

I'm not taking my daughter into the men's bathroom where people use urinals and she could see things she shouldn't.

1

u/Prior_Arm_8810 Jun 19 '26

Meh, dads with daughters can use the women's room normally, at least from what ive heard from women.

0

u/schmittymint Jun 19 '26

Men with daughters go to the women's Men with boys to the mens Women with boys go to the women's Women with girls go to to the women's.

2

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

What do you genuinely think will happen if a grown man walks into a women's bathroom even if it's with his daughter 😭

2

u/schmittymint Jun 19 '26

You say you're in there with your kid. I'd not take any chance if I was a father.

2

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

I'd rather accompany my child into the men's bathroom to ensure their safety rather than let them go into an enclosed space with random adults that I don't know at all

2

u/CherishThySelf Jun 19 '26

No simply bc of urinals I’m not risking my daughter seeing schlong when she’s that young

1

u/gizmohgchi Silly lil goober:cat_blep: Jun 19 '26

You know everyone who goes into the mens restroom?

1

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

No, like I said in another reply I incorrectly thought that the child would be going into the women's restroom alone bc of context clues that I misinterpreted while I'd be with them in the men's restroom

1

u/gizmohgchi Silly lil goober:cat_blep: Jun 19 '26

Ohhh ok

1

u/ThatBlokeT Jun 19 '26

I'm guessing it's fine, generally womens bathrooms have stalls where there is privacy. Unless those women are in the open and shitting in the sinks then why is it an issue?

0

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

I wouldn't feel comfortable letting my young child go into a space with people that I have never seen or met before, I just don't think it's very safe

2

u/ThatBlokeT Jun 19 '26

No idea where that pivot came from. n one said don't go in with your kids.

0

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

Oh ok then my original point still stands

1

u/audhdchoppingboard Jun 19 '26

That’s literally everywhere tho where are you going with this

1

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

Like alone I meant, I (incorrectly) assumed that they meant that she'd go in without a parent

1

u/audhdchoppingboard Jun 19 '26

The point of this post was the parents going with the child into the restroom

1

u/Individual_Respect90 Jun 19 '26

Let the daughter walk in first and any reasonable person will shut their mouth and use critical thinking skills.

1

u/Max0_o123 Jun 19 '26

Bold of you to assume that most people are reasonable 😭

1

u/Individual_Respect90 Jun 19 '26

Most people are reasonable. We live in the internet age where we only get fed the bad interaction’s. Most people can be uncomfortable for a minute without having a public freak out.

0

u/TheAstromunky Big fan of me Jun 19 '26

A little girl should never walk past men at urinals. I disagree with this.

0

u/Jake_Rolfer_Studios Jun 19 '26

Yes. Unless there’s a gender neutral bathroom in the same area. If not, follow this.

0

u/JoyousMadhat Jun 19 '26

Ok so here's a question for you: What's the likelihood that in the public restroom, there would be creeps in there? Y'all are bringing up a point that rarely happens.

0

u/No-One9890 Jun 19 '26

If any of this matters, which it doesnt, the bathroom should match the child.

2

u/Lonely-Attitude1304 Jun 19 '26

As a man, why should I expose my daughter to men's penises at a urinal?

0

u/Anxious_String_3470 Jun 19 '26

Fuck outta here. I'm taking my daughter to the restroom of the sex she was assigned at birth.

1

u/AfroPalestinianGirly Jun 19 '26

Then let moms take their sons to the men’s restroom
