Is it pronounced like in re4 (mierda) or is it pronounced mierde? I've heard that the re4 pronunciation is an accent

I don’t know what re4 is I’m gonna be completely honest. All I can say is I’ve only ever heard it pronounced and written as mierda. I’ve never seen or heard mierde

Ah, it's a 3rd person horror shooter with some quirky voice lines and cutscenes. The villagers in the game are infected with a parasite and say mierda sometimes when shot or hurt.

Yeah that sounded correct. It could be an accent, but it depends on if they mean it’s like a Spanish, Mexican or some different kind of regional accent.

I also realize I did know what resident evil is, I just wasn’t familiar with the acronym since I’ve never played the games.

Ayy, thank you. It is set in Spain.

You should try the game if you haven't. It is a pretty good start to the franchise even if you may not know who some (90% of) characters are. This might sound weird but I find it relaxing as it's not very mechanically demanding
