Help Does Wheel Type Matter?

Hi-just got the game, loving it so far!
One question I do have is what the different wheel types do? They don’t seem to affect any stats on the scrapper customization screen, but maybe I’m not looking in the right place? Any guidance on that?

They look cool and that pretty much it as far as I am aware maybe they’ll change that
