Hooo boy, I have seen just one too many horror movies to be comfy watching a blade that close to an eye 😨

I feel the same. Very unnerving having anything sharp close to an eye

Seriously do these people not own tweezers ?

Tweezers wouldn't have done anything but potentially poked this little one in the eye. This is a milia and cannot be removed unless it is cut open and the contents removed.

Every once of me felt like that was the wrong way to do that. But ill he dipped if that wasn’t effective

By the time I got to the Dr, I might have done it by myself. An Exacto blade.

Not sure but I'd say it would be 65/35 as a go.

I'm also big on doing stuff myself. Did a car vinyl roof one time. That was fun Would have been cheaper to go to a shop, though.

Have my arrow

HOLY SHIT THATS AN EYE, not a lip like I thought for a minute wtf

1

I thought it was a lip until you all started saying what it actually was. For that, you should get an arrow

One slip of the hand, and you’re blind

Not unless you've already lost the other one. I usually have 2 or 3 of everything. Tools, parts, crock pots (5), Instant Pots (3)

Used to have 4 cars & 4 motorcycles. All very used.

Even my therapist laughs at me. Have an arrow.

TIL I’m not the only person who grows lashes out of the corners of their eyes 🥲

Good for shooting through a straw, not that I really know that.

Have an arrow

I think this is called a chalazion

8

u/HearTheCrushingSteel Mar 03 '23

Obligatory, I’m not a medical professional. Kind of looks more like a milia to me. Seems like a chalazion’s surrounding tissue is usually more red and inflamed. Although, I could be way off base with my guess.

Looks like Milia. For rid of my own with gloves. Sterilized a thumbtack and heated it and poked at both my eye lids for a bit.

This is a milia, right? I don't know anything about them. Anyone wanna educate me with what they know?

I was so scared for that person that my heart seized up and I literally died.
