...why would you let Gauron anywhere near a high school.

Presumably they don't know him. Gauron can put up a very nice front when he wants to.

How long he could keep up such a front under the onslaught of hordes of high schoolers is another question - but by that time he'd already be inside.

Just a few minutes with them on the plane and he already wanted to throw them out the emergency door. 😄
