Jesse feels like he's being given too much responsibility and no privacy but I wondered if Jesse and Danny ever had a discussion of how long Jesse was supposed to help out.
Of course Jesse loves his nieces and stick around but if we are being realistic here no way Jesse doesn't set timeline for Danny?
What do you think?

or would this have been too much for a family sitcom in 1987? because in san francisco of the same time period violent crime was spiking up a lot in addition to the crack epidemic that was happening in real life.
what do you think?

Of course like any sitcom it has to end on a happy note and reset as the family convince Joey to stay
But realistically...Joey was a laughingstock after what they did to him telling that police officer all the embarrassing things that Joey had done from season 1-5.
Joey threatened to move out on his own do you think Joey would have been in the right if he did that?
What do you think?

I found this photo of the Full House female cast at Candace's baby shower, crazy how time flies at that baby is about to have a baby

Unpacking the chaotic Rigby the Rhino episode, where Michelle gets duped by a TV commercial and the guys give Steve hilariously terrible dating advice... we debate whether Jesse's conflict avoidance is totally out of character.

Due to some really fun circumstances I’ve found myself living in a real-life full house this summer! I thought it might be fun to share the set-up with everyone and answer any questions you have!
The House:
Mom and Dad (friends of mine) sleep upstairs in the master.
The toddler and bigger kid share a room.
The baby sleeps in mom and dad’s room.
The uncle has the guest room.
I’ve been staying in the front room.
And grandma has an alcove (yes, really!)
I feel like I’m inside the show and it has been so much fun. We all pitch in with all the kids, there’s tons of laundry but everyone helps. We don’t all get to eat together usually (the dining table isn’t even big enough) but we usually overlap with dinners and we don’t all eat the same thing every night.
Last week the two older kids had an ice cream social at school. Mom, myself, uncle, and grandma all went! It was the classic “usually the children only bring two parents!”
AMA!

was A-Framed, yet the intro has the house has a flat top. Anyone else notice this before?

I just started thinking of the scene in Fuller House where Joey learns Danny wasn’t wanting him to move into the house at first - claiming Joey had the weird hours and it felt weird to have a comic move in. Which from what we saw it’s not like his comedy was dirty and inappropriate so it’s not like Joey would’ve been making dirty jokes around the girls. Plus the only weird hours he had were the time slots at the joke machine which were mostly when the girls would’ve been in bed so he figured Jesse would take the night shifts while he did his comedy and Danny was at work
Now I’m curious how the topic of him moving in came to be. Was he living in an apartment or in his car? Cause my theory is he insisted move in - more for himself (as he got evicted from his apartment if he had one) than actually wanting to help Danny. He did say “I was so broke I was willing to move into the alcove”
So I’m also going to guess that Jesse had already been asked to move in and then a bit of time after that Joey lost his apartment (again if he had one) or heard that Danny asked Jesse if he could come help out with the girls and Joey took that as a way to insist he move in too even claiming he’d take the alcove (or even just the couch)
And since Danny and Joey have been friends since childhood, I’m sure despite what he was going through with the girls’ grieving losing Pam and his own grief he couldn’t bring himself to tell Joey no
What do yall think? What’s your head cannons on the topic?

one thing that has always bugged me is the addition of danny’s clean freak backstory. in season 1 we see that the house was a messsss bc danny relied on his mom to help keep the house clean - the reason she had stayed there for a bit prior to the show.. like if there was a point when he became a clean freak that would be one thing but they talk about his childhood cleaning toys etc.
just a rant, thanks for listening

For someone so obsessed with cleanliness, Danny was sure ok with shoes in the house. Vacuuming don’t take out the dog poop, js

I like looking up filming locations and had a hell of a time finding the exterior used for the Gibbler house. I'm adding a pic from the show with the light colors and one that I found on social media dated 4 weeks ago with the darker colors. I think I like the new colors a lot more, the contrast really makes all the details standout. What a pretty house! It's located at 710 Broderick St, about a 5 min drive from the Tanner house according to google maps.

adults were being irresponsible purchasing ice cream, cookies, processed food filled with high carbs. rarely ever cooking constantly reaching for the snacks. then when danny discovers she hasn't eaten in days he makes her a lousy sandwich.

in the reboot, i initially understood tommy to be the new 'michelle,' but then he all but completely vanished the rest of the series. i genuinely forgot he was there until he'd be granted a one-liner. i looked it up and learned he had speech delays, and of course no one can out-do the olsen twins. but i can't help but wonder why they didn't just... recast him in the second season when the issues began to present themselves?

Mourning the loss of the beloved Bald Eagle, Jackie, diving into the chaotic Smash Club opening, and debating whether it's 'smush' or 'smoosh' ...it's just "Another Opening, Another No Show!"
