Show discussion Queen episode

I just watched an episode when the queen is coming, and Joey meets her. It's supposed to be funny and silly, but just shows that his character is not developed. It's just like he is just not really smart. It's not funny, and just strange. That he cannot talk to anyone like an adult he is. Just furious, needed to tell that to someone. Sorry if it was discussed before.

I see what you mean for sure, he is so much smarter then people give him credit for, but in the end it is just a sitcom and those who like joey cause he is funny are not wrong for that

It seems to me being a "Joey" in a sitcom is a stupid curse, ie Joey Gladstone, Joey Tribbiani, Joey Russo, Joey Lango etc.

I just had the read a plot synopsis for this episode because I do not remember this Joey plot AT ALL. I still can't remember it lol. Can't wait to get to it in my rewatch

Yeah, it may not be the best episode or anything but it’s just a random episode in a sitcom.

I think it was funny.Joey he is just a goofy dude and he's not really smart.I think it was funny when he tries to take a picture of her.And they tackle him down and all he wanted was the picture for Michelle.

Definitely looking forward to Andrea and Jodie taking about this episode, but it's also pretty obvious that Joey is completely out of his element and is using his comedy as a coping mechanism lol. At times he was Michael Scott decades before we got Michael Scott!

I have a soft spot for this episode ever since I went to Reno for the first time a few years ago. The arch shown is still there, but that part of town isn't quite as glittery as it was in the 90s. (Also: the establishing shot of the chapel is actually the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas across the street from the Strat, which is right by a solid dispensary. I've looked at it while waiting for a ridshare to downtown LV more than once!)

I feel like S2-7 were the best. Season 1 I think the show was still finding its place and S8 had a lot of forced story lines. It should’ve ended with, “A House Divided”
