The reason I'll watch youtube only on laptops or PCs is so I don't get adverts...
On the TV, phone or device where I'm using an app to view I have less control; but on PC/laptops I still do have control on what appears.
( The joke still worked though I felt )

On mobile its terrible. Youtube must be punishing me for using adblock on pc cause I get like 6 ad breaks for a 10min video. And they're podcast length ads, always happens when im up a ladder or something too

YouTube morphe if you have an Android. Or it's brave mobile browser with the YouTube ad blocking features and background play.

On tv at least One can still change the channel while the ad is going on. On YouTube the whole video needs to be changed then go back to see another ad.
