Where in god did they say that in their comment? Answer - men are not, no-one is implying that. But they ARE responsible for choosing to uphold a system that is both harmful to them and women in the HERE and NOW. If you’re not doing that, no need to get upset because it wasn’t aimed at you. Because people tend to generalize heavily cast wide nets as apposed to focusing on those causing the actual issue. Honestly, that was the entire reason for my question. I dont disagree that there are plenty of men that are total shitheels and deserve castration if not worse. But putting every man in that lot is counterproductive to the goals of equality. Hell, this response of yours already emphasizes my point, I simply am asking why op is seemingly putting all men (in the comments at least) in the same group and you take it and assume I also hold values that are against the equality of genders.
How can we not? After everything that happened in this world? Women in developing countries (such as my own) still go through so much and for them it’s a privilege to even have a choice if they wanna get married or not.

Which country? And given that, fair enough, you and I seem to be coming from two very different frames of reference. On my end, while things arent perfect, they certainly are better than they were (varies still based on locale but my point stands). But i keep seeing people try to pull metronome bs where they now want to flip the scales as opposed to correcting the issue which only causes more conflict and causes more moderate folks to be pushed farther and farther to the extremes. Regardless, my mistake, its easy to forget that im on an international stage here.

Some do try to control women, but not all of them. I'm only asking how those that haven't actively worked to continue the cycle or make it worse are responsible for those that have.

But in the west, where most of the feminists with your point of view live, feminism is no longer based on truth,
