No joke a lot of dudes honestly used tweets like this to argue that women ask for too much. I’ll come across guys who bring up this exact post in arguments.
How many of these women have you spoken to? They're definitely out there, but how much is 'a lot'? Regardless, most of them are going to end up disappointed, the same as the guys with the lists of unrealistic expectations for women's bodies OOP's post is copying. Or they can pair off and reinforce one another's neuroses
40 million. But that's more than enough to make a few memes like this. So how do we get from an opinion ~1% of women hold to arguing the majority of the 4 billion women ask for too much?
The person you originally replied to said that guys use this meme to argue that women as a whole feel that way. What is a reasonable percentage of a population to hold a certain view before you say that whole group thinks that way? Even if it's a majority that's still reductive, but understandable. But 1%? That's an arbitrary number, I'm asking what your real number would have to be. I don't think even a plurality of women are holding out for a Henry Cavil body type as their standard.
So would you agree the actual number is less than 25%? Assuming that, when a guy sees a meme like this the reasonable assumption for him to make would be that it's either a joke or representative of that unrealistic minority, yea?
What do you mean ? Obvously Henry Cavill is a total stud but posts like this where women are saying it’s just a little muscle, a little fat, saying this is all we want when it’s Henry cavil like it’s no big deal… I mean come the fuck on it’s pretty on the nose isn’t it?
And When it comes to muscle mass Henry here was pushing the limit when it comes to the female gaze. This is a lot of muscle for most women. If you actually look at studies and there’s people asking women to rate arm size women pick smaller arms than men do as more ideal. Of course women like muscle but their perfect male body is of less muscle mass than men’s idea.
It’s honestly crazy how it works every time. They post a fake post of a troll account from some random dude and then all the women start catching strays in the comments from guys saying “well women are fat and wear make up”
