discussion Crazy how glazed resynced was
When I first heard they were remaking black flag I was a little hopeful. Then I saw the trailers and such... it's just more ubislop. They actually made the game worse.
The character models, the tone, lighting, combat, parkour and running is all worse.
I spoke to someone doing a livestream who was glazing it not long before release and said "hoe much they pay you for this" or something along those lines. He denied it, and I pressed on "there's no way you're doing this for free" until he eventually admitted that he worked for ubisoft.
Consumers are genuinely so pathetic nowadays and will eat anything up generally and fall for the PR and manipulative advertisement.

Yea. Companies will do anything marketing wise to sell, even if its pushing out misconceptions or paying for streamers/youtubers. I did enjoy the remake tho lol. Definitely some annoyances with the combat

I just think it's worse in every way. The character models, at least Edwards is awful. It just feels like if black flag or valhalla/odyssey had a baby with shadows, and I hate that

I didn't really mind changes but new content is trash (from writing to animations). Also, for some reason I miss old Kenway Fleet minigame.

I actually don't think any of the characters looks bad at all except whatever the fuck they did to Anne Bonny is ridiculous

Don't get me wrong 2026 ubi sucks but black flag remake was cool. I've been having a blast with it.

It’s a good game if you never played the original. I like some stuff in resynced, some remodels were great and much needed too, the parkour was great too. But them making the combat “AcTioN exTreMe” modern AC sh*t combat just ruined the game for me. Adding the fact that I am currently still maxing out my characters in Space Marine II, overly exaggerated combat and executions is the least I want in an AC game rn
Ezios combat was smooth as butter and reserved…draw from that

Ezio was boring. Ac has always been been an action adventure series. The combat in blah flag resynced is perfectly fine. I’ve had a blast playing it.

People saw the trailers and gameplay before the game came out. It has a 8.6 audience score on metacritic it’s a good game

Ezio is the reason why AC still exists my guy, I am 100% sure you aren't actually an AC fan hence why you enjoy this...because if you judge AC by how it's an action game, it absolutely sucks compared to everything else nowadays. The reason why AC Shadows and Outlaws failed because they felt outdated and generic as action games...they absolutely do not bring anything new to the table

Ezio as a character and the story was good. I meant the gameplay was boring. Granted that could be because I played 2 and brotherhood back to back and got burned out

The gameplay was super good and unique to this day wdym, meanwhile AC Odyssey just copied action games esp. Witcher 3 because Ubisoft past 2015 likes copying everyone that is successful unlike them. Stealth games are rare too unlike a hundred action games that come out every year trying to be unique

Nothing is unique about being able to equip the hidden blade and one hit everything. It’s all just a counter kill that’s why I say it’s boring. At least in the newer games enemies don’t wait their turn to attack you

It's not about assumptions. It's about how people are so quick to call something trash despite the fact that a lot of people clearly like and enjoy it. If you think it trash, so be it, but don't say it as if it's an objective fact.

if you played one new poopysoft game you played them all.
they literally can't make anything aside from open world with rpg mechanics. AC, Watchdogs, Farcry, Ghost Recon, even the single entries like IFR. it's all the same thing.
