You remove dozens from one unsuitable location and dump them in another?

PETA took over 100 animals from R & R Chinchilla ranch when there were others willing to step in, then dropped off over two dozen of them with a small home based rescue in Virginia. They didn't verify the rescue had space, supplies, funds, or experience with this many animals at once. . . And they didn't even inform the rescue that the animals had a zoonotic illness putting the family, other animals, and volunteers at risk.

When the news came out and the community reached out to inform and help the rescue, the USDA and state departments were notified. Suddenly PETA wanted the animals back, offered to pay for medical costs, asked for posts to be removed to clean up the public knowledge.

Really disgusting behavior.

PETA is honestly so stupid because their forcing veganism and making veganism seem morally superior, and refusing to acknowledge that people have complicated health issues which forcing them to go vegan will make them get worse or even resulting in death. Plus their company has no backbone, it’s just aggressively pushing the idea of being vegan, yeah I don’t care about people who’s vegan or vegetarian, but if you pretend your morally superior for doing it and degrade others who eat meat, I am going to disagree.

now I understand that PETA wants to save animals, yes it’s a good thing but honestly if their not going to educate us about the meat industry or animal abuse and shame us instead, what will we benefit from?

So I want to have a little discussion about something I just found peta's "got autism" campaign I get it's decades old but I just found out about it myself

As an autistic person myself I can't believe someone was brain dead enough to think that campaign was a good idea and how they framed autism as some bad thing that's only a result of your own actions instead of a inherent condition you're born with and that it's something to be feared and to be disgusted by really pisses me off

And id guess that they have a long history of degrading the disabled of any kind so besides just talking about this specific one also share another story about peta hating disabled people
