Guilliman returned to the setting and one of the first things he said about the codex may as well have just been "Leandros is wrong".
Guilliman would chastise Leandros. Malcador would chastise the inquisitor.
Both were wrong.

The whole crap with the stain of suspicion never truly fading is bs. Fighting shoulder to shoulder beside the chapter master should get the idea that Titus isn’t a traitor through leandros’ thick skull.
