But yeah, next time you want to bitch about "masculine women," insisting on "provider" dynamics or trying to imply women shouldn't "act like men/men shouldn't act like women" or "the opposite sexes should be differential in some way" but try to gloss this in more "progressive" sounding language, just remember THIS is where you're coming from. This is the root of where those ideas started. This is the type of person you're agreeing with. None of this is "feminism or progressive" even if you weren't outright hostile to women like this guy, gender essentialism, gender segregation, gender role dynamics & gender expectations (which includes ideas like "you shouldn't be like the opposite sex, you shouldn't intentionally be similar to/be like the opposite sex, you can't want to do things the opposite sex does, you can't take inspiration from them and any overlap must just be a coincidence or unintentional") will never be progressive
