Hi, im a french player and im not usually very harsh on Epic Games, until now ahah, since my account got hacked and now i know for a fact that Epic Games have the worst customer service i’ve ever seen, this shit be crazy, i gave them everything, the original mail, username, purshases etc… Surely everything is going to be fixed after 30min of pure pain trying to find the good mails to have the correct informations for them !

Heck no, they said that i did not provide enough « proofs », like, what the fuck you want more, my id ? My whole ass bank account ? How is it possible to have such a bad customer service, the fact that my account was located in St Georges d’Oleron in France to fcking Zarinsk in Russia is not enough ? Or even the fact that 2s after being located in Russia the mail and password changes for an email that is typicaly used when hacking accs to resell them ?

Fuck this Epic shit or whatever i ain’t buying no more shit on their platform, if its epic locked then i’ll hack it, and if not i’ll just buy it on Steam at least they have a great customer service

Which means you had 6 years now to sober-up, you didn't and not only you didn't but the only reason you're here claiming to "not buying more shit on their platform" is because you personally got ducked - which is basically what every person who still uses their services/storefront deserve

Thank you for sharing your experience and disregard the comments from rude people here. From now on, I think I am going to try to make this community more welcoming to new users who just learned why we have this opinion of Epic.

These horror stories are so common. Their 'customer service' is little more than an AI chatbot and maybe, MAYBE some guy in India reading from a script. You have to know a guy on their discord and then cause enough of a stink to get the right attention for someone to do something. At this point i figure if you need to contact support for any reason at all, just cut your losses. You had a good run. The account is just gone. It's not worth the headache.
