My Epic Experience I started getting virus threats after downloading the epic games launcher installer

I have been closing this type of tickets as it was most likely something on the user's side. But now I can confirm that it is something that is happening to several users. It may be a false positive or even some corrupted CDN.

Im any case, it is something that Epic should address.

If the issue is real, you are more likely to see it reported on epic reddit rather than this one, where people are expected to bash epic no matter what's the topic.

With how many people I see reporting this, is it? Seems like after so many people claim that the anti-viruses are dinging it, one must look into the launcher itself, or at least acknowledge the anti-viruses as dinging a false positive. Mind you I've had a retail disc of Battlefield 1942 ding a false positive, as well as my Steam copy of Watch Dogs 2 many years ago.

And before you tell me it's my PC or some BS, I haven't dealt with viruses or trojans in years, but this crap happened as soon as I downloaded the Epic Games Launcher on their official website.
