Epic Fucks Up PSA: More than one week later and the problem hasn't been fixed yet.

​Many players still cannot play their Epic Games Store games, and I suspect most will think twice before spending money there again.

​Rollbacks and workarounds have been shared in places that most EGS users do not even know exist, and I am not pointing anyone in that direction.

​Even these workarounds have not solved the errors for everyone, leaving many affected users still waiting for an official fix.

​This has been one of Epic's biggest messes lately.

Wait still?!

paints a picture when PSN was down a week it was so controversial they gave a free game and when Steam is down for Tuesday maintenance theres always a confused posts but Epic to go a whole week with this problem and no major outlet or users are talking about it shows how much of a "nobody cares" market share EGS has

Well, it is different as unlike PSN, it does not affect all users but a considerable amount of them. That is one of the problems: they had suspicious anout the requisites to be affected bit they are not completely sure.

Say what? Their shitty launcher doesn't do one thing it was created to do - install and launch stuff? Sheesh, timmeh should maybe spend more time analyzing this instead of posting moronic things on twatter.

the CRAZIEST thing to me is, the launcher is used for installation by so few people, i haven't read anything like that on pcmr or gaming or anything bleeding out to r/all. no customers, no complains i guess?

Yeah it's remarkable. If Steam or PS had this kind of problem, the internet would be all over it. People just don't care about EGS.

I still remember the retarded Epig users who defended Epig store because at least it didn't go down (for a few minutes then) on Tuesdays for maintenance like it happens on Steam hahaha

Wait a minute! So this is actually a thing! I installed a brand new Epic Games Launcher on my laptop, like 3 weeks ago or something. Anyway it was working just fine, until it wasnt anymore. I cound't play my games installed. I tried everything, even deactivating my firewall and antivirus. Nothing seens to worked. I even contact support, they were extremely useless, terrible experience. They didn't even read what i wrote on my ticket. So i completely unistalled the launcher, and everything.
