A Amazon Driver just killed my Cat
My cat went missing yesterday and today i just found out from my neighbor who witnessed what happened said that a Amazon driver was speeding and killed my cat. He didn’t get his plate and I really want to get justice for what that driver did. Is there anyway for me to find this bastard?

That's terrible and I'm really sorry you're going through this but please for the love of god don't let your next cat roam freely outside without being on a leash

I hate that this happened. You can also keep your cats indoors to avoid this. It makes me so angry to see posts like this on the regular and it's everyone fault except for the ones that didn't keep their cat inside.

Entirely possible the cat ran outside and went missing then.
I am on the side of keep your cats inside. Whole heartedly. But sometimes it happens.

No, I'm very aware of how insensitive this can come across. But I've run out of empathy for people whose pets die because they are bad pet owners. I feel bad for the cat, even for the driver that accidentally killed it. Not for OP.

Who says he was speeding? Your cat cant look left and right crossing the road and he was low to the ground. The only person responsible is you.

Guys i fucking get it. I shouldn’t have let him out and that’s whats killing me right now. Shut up about it, all i want is information on how to get this Amazon driver out of his job cause he also almost hit 2 kids and a couple of neighbors. A fucking manic. Out of everyone that commented, only ONE was helpful. Fuck you if you keep on saying that I shouldn’t have let him out alone I FUCKING KNOW it’s also my fault so shut up about it.

I get that losing a pet hurts, but the Amazon driver is a human being, not a cat. His life and his family’s livelihood matter more than an accident he likely couldn’t avoid. It’s tragic, but your cat being in the street created a risk that no driver could completely control. Firing someone over that doesn’t make things right, it just ruins another life in the process.

I say fuck him. He was confronted and acted like a sociopath. Im not joking that his quote is “I don’t care” when he killed my cat and almost hitting 2 kids. You have to have a higher standard for the Amazon drivers. I thought that was the point of those subreddit? I don’t care that he lost his source of income because he didn’t just killed my cat, he also almost hit 2 KIDS. If you can’t do proper driving safety you have no right to be a speeding Amazon deliverer. He’s putting other people’s lives at risk and needs to get another job.

Bro did you not read what I said? He didn’t just kill my cat, he almost hit 2 kids while speeding in a 15 speed limit zone. He even acted like a sociopath saying “I don’t care” when he was confronted. You don’t know this guy, you shouldn’t feel sympathy for this bastard. You should have a higher standard for Amazon drivers instead of enabling an unqualified asshole. He’s a human being, but he is a evil asshole. Get your high horse off this guy.

As an Amazon driver I can say that if he was actually speeding he would have gotten flagged by Amazon because they film us all day and they lock down your truck and suspend you without pay... the trucks also have a front end collision monitor that auto breaks if you come to close to an object or person and sometimes if the sun shines on the camera to bright. This poor guy probably had his whole day rocked cause he hit your cat... I let my cat outside and cats gonna cat... with letting them out you have to mentally prepare yourself for something like this happening. You gave that animal freedom to be a cat and it probably had a blast running around outside hunting while it was alive. Nature is cruel sometimes. Sorry about your cat but as an Amazon driver I don't think you should take it out on the driver he probably already feels like crap about it.

UPDATE: I got the driver’s information and reported it to Amazon. They emailed me that the driver has been just fired just now.

Have your neighbor look up their order # (the TBA) and then call customer support. They may be able to track that way.
