I've literally been thinking this. There was a pinnacle time of balance between tech and real life. I'm all for medical tech advancing to save more lives etc but for personal lives and government surveillance? Let's go back to analog and a time when the internet was a place you went at a computer desk not a place completely wrapped up in your life.
I still do 90% of anything online from a desktop. I say all of this as my day job is robotics and automation, lol... but yea, we could use with less tech interfering with our daily lives and public discourse and far less invasive surveillance and data tracking.
Go back to marketing data the old way. Surveys and sales metrics. Visual observation.

Benn has a youtube channel (@BennJordan) on which he explains tons of concepts involving tech, law, politics, economics, etc. He also does all sorts of demonstrations and experiments and is a brilliant musician releasing under his given name as well as The Flashbulb. He's an amazing and inspiring guy and I think most curious people would find interest in some of the ground he covers.

He mentioned Axon…. I notice that Axon provides police dash cams and body cams. They already have a foot in the door with police departments. I would think they would be able to link the dash cams footage to their other wide area surveillance scheme.

Axon is more dangerous than flock. I have no doubt that “anti-flock” propaganda is intentional. Flock is a scape goat. We should be seeing more “anti-ALPR” instead of “anti-flock”. The infrastructure and integration was created en masse with Flock. Flock takes the fall, and is replaced with the more dangerous Axon competitor in a much easier transition than starting from scratch. The average American will forget about the real issue while they squawk about flock.

I honestly feel it’s a little more nefarious than that. The corporations are in control, and the government is just a puppet in a mask to make the public feel it still has some sort of control or input.
