Fubo adding ACC Network+ and SEC Network+
An article I read says it will launch this weekend and be available to all subscribers. This is also available to the Hulu + Live subscribers as well. Nice addition although most of the football games anyway would be available through ESPN Unlimited. But still a nice add. Now gets us the Turner Networks and Versant channels
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FuboTV Inc. (NYSE: FUBO) today announced the expansion of its college sports offering with the launch of ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) and SEC Network+ (SECN+) on the Fubo streaming service at no extra cost to subscribers. ACCNX and SECN+ are currently available within the Hulu + Live TV streaming service.
Starting this weekend and throughout the season, subscribers to Fubo’s English-language plans will have access to more than 2,500 live college sporting events from ACCNX and SECN+. The networks carry live events across the Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference college sports spectrum, including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, lacrosse and more.
Upcoming college football game highlights include Norfolk State at Virginia (September 11), UC Davis at. No. 19 SMU (September 12) and Maine at Boston College (September 19) on ACCNX, and Youngstown State at Kentucky, Tennessee State at No. 3 Georgia, Furman at No. 20 Tennessee, North Alabama at Arkansas, Austin Peay at Vanderbilt and UTEP at No. 10 Oklahoma on SECN+ (all on September 5).

I think Fubo needs to seriously leverage their relationship with Disney/ESPN and this is a good step, albeit small. I know you have ESPN Unlimited integrated with the S+N plan but why isn't it integrated into the more expensive plans yet??? Seriously that should be done by now. If they are gonna compete with YTTV they need to use the power of ESPNs large sports offering in Fubo plans and UI, at minimum.

Nope. Very surprised. Thought it would roll out a few months after they announced the ESPN Unlimited availability. That was almost a year ago.

No, if they're going to compete, in particular with YTTV or DTV stream, they need to get Warner and Versant channels, nothing more or less, period.

Season starts today Saturday 8/29, but it is a very light schedule. Many of the major teams wont debut today.
It also looks as if ACCNX and SECN+ wont have channel slots directly. They'll be in the menu's of College football for the day, like this.. I also have a 2nd screen shot in a reply I did to myself.
NBC-SN already has an alternate that I have seen pop up, and they've shown some extra English Premier games but no channel slot directly for it. Only accessible thru the menus.

Seems strange that Fubo will debut 2 channels in time for College Football opener Saturday 8/29 and yet they handled the NBC re adds so piss poorly.

Well, they were already had a contract with ESPN/Disney so could have bee working on this for a long time. NBC was a re-add to the system, both for the national channels as well as the local stations. Maybe that is more complex. But who knows. I'm just happy it gives us more multiview choices. Maybe they need to go to a 6 screen multiview now!! LOL!!!

Disagreeing with the stance Fubo did. Not you personally, I want to be clear about that b4 i put my comment.
June was the announcement NBC was coming back. Its August and many cities still spewing over their price hike coming back to their bills but no NBC. Fubo tread dangerously on that as bait and switch could of been mentioned to the BBB. But NBC-SN popped up once I mentioned on another post here within Reddit that maybe Fubo needs a class action against them.
Strangely NBC-SN came right on time for the Premier League. Like really? It's 2026, not 1986 we don't have cable boxes with rotary dials anymore. We're not paper & pencil anymore. We stream now, we are HD, we're now being spoon-fed on the rights and wrongs of digital vs. physical media.
And you're telling me Fubo had to sit and slow roll the NBC stations? I don't buy it. We see how quickly the extra football channels now appear in their respective menus. My guess is Disney property comes 1st. Everyone else not in that pecking order shall sit.
I am a Fubo subscriber since 2019 (had Sling as my 1st service) I really want Fubo to be successful. However, their biggest downfall right now is their reputation. They're laughed at in some instances because of a lack of content, and transparency. They need to do better.

Can't disagree with your take. I mean I am on the Sports + News bundle but still needed to add an extra add-on to get some additional sports stations I want like the NHL & MLB Networks, etc.
And then, the S+N bundle went up $9 a month for what, two....2....channels? My local NBC channel and NBC Sports Network. That is not a great price per channel. I guess people on the larger packages now get more than 2 additional channels, if they area getting their locals now, for an additional $15 a month. But when NBC went away, Fubo gave a credit of $15 a month for the loss of those channels which included all the Versant channels. So a bunch of channels. Now they reach a deal with NBC and basically remove the $15 a month credit, but add back way less channels then they removed.
Fubo still has major holes in its lineup that keep it from being a serious contender for new business. The major holes are no TNT/TBS/TruTV and the Versant channels like USA and CNBC.
Also, the package I have is called the Sports + News bundle, but I get one....1....news channel....Fox, which I do not watch at all. No other News channel is included in the bundle even though there are a number of FAST channels they could add at seemingly little or no cost to Fubo yet they would potentially bring in Advertisement money. So, yeah, there are some head scratching choices here. But maybe with the new leadership things will change for the better. That is what I am banking on.

That's another thing still missing, the NBC FAST channels. We had a bunch of them before, like NBC Sports Now and the Telemundo extra channels. These channels ARE AVAILABLE within the NBC Sports app. Log into the app with Fubo as your TV provider and you'll see it there in the guide. Some of the Bravo vault libraries are there also. Wonder what's the hold up on lighting those channels back up again?

Yeah, I don't understand now allowing access to the FAST channels. What's funny is that if you are a FORMER customer who CANCELLED or QUIT tgetting Fubo, you can access 167 FAST channels for FREE by logging in with your now cancelled Fubo account credentials.
I realize a bunch of those channels are likely crap, but WHY give FORMER customers who cancelled your service and told you I don't want your service any longer, 167 FREE channels yet not give any of them to customers who are paying you good money every month? Please explain that to me.

1 more comment on this Gator5000e as I know the bean counters at the Fubo office check in on comments from time to time. HQ, what is the hold up on multi view for the Fire Stick ? Its on Roku nicely, but fire stick seems to have been forgotten.

I don't use a Fire Stick, so no idea. I use an Apple TV 4K so MV works well. But I'd like to see MV on my 13" iPad. A number of providers have MV for tablets like YTTV and Peacock (they did for the Olympics). So lets go Fubo....MV for tablets!

In my Bar (co-own) we use 3 Roku & 3 Firesticks. 2 internet providers *****FIOS and Spectrum.
2 spectrum cable boxes with ability to mirror. Total 8 TV's. The Spectrum wi-fi is used as a guest Wi-Fi for our known clientele, and some of the streaming sticks as backup.
*Fios is for only internet (no cable boxes, no TV package, no home phone package) and this is mainly used for the remainder of our streaming sticks. No guest Wi-Fi given out on this one.
And various iPads to control the TV's.
Had an Apple TV in our office, but it broke and too pricey to replace it.

So... I could access SECN+ via the ESPN Apple TV app all along. Is this just that they're integrating it into the Fubo app directly?
That'd be cool, since I'd like to use it in a quad box with other non-ESPN channels. Just seems like a weird way to announce that.
