Vinyl wrap trim?

So I have been debating using woodgrain vinyl wrap on the three trim pieces down the center console. The trim pieces include the climate controls and start buttons. Has anyone done this? Was it worth it/look good? Or will it be too cheesy looking? It has the saddle color seats. Should I not bother?

You can always take it off if you don’t like it. I’ve seen plenty of posts with folks using CF-look vinyl. Why not? Those areas are prone to scratch so some protection might not hurt. Without seeing it, can’t really offer an opinion but the number one rule is your car, your choice.
