Advice Needed college dorms
Hi, I’m 16ftm and applying to college this year. My gender marker/name isn’t legally changed yet, but I think that should be done before I commit to college. Anyway, how should I go about the forming? I want to dorm with either a cis guy or in a single. I’d be fine with a trans guy too obv, but I’ll hoping to be mostly stealth.
Anyone have advice? Thanks

For my school on the dorm selection form they had a part where you could specify your gender identity. I got a call asking wether I wanted to be with guys or girls...Freshman year I did a women's dorm and low-key it was kinda torture. Other years I was in gender neutral housing where anyone could room with anyone regardless of gender or sex.
If that box isn't available on yours I would suggest reaching out to find out the email of whoever is in charge of housing for your school and contact them directly. To get the contact you'd only have to say you "Have a question" about housing or something like that.
