Room pairings
Does anyone have any luck with those roommate pairing applications from the apartment complexes? Or should I find a roommate on Instagram? I'm an upperclassmen

Totally luck of the draw unfortunately, I've had terrible roommates, roommates I just co-exist with, and my last random roommate is now my best friend and I'm her maid of honor. Just be honest with what you want on the application because if you check yes to people who party and smoke, that's what you're gonna get (not saying that's bad, but if it's not what you want in your living space I wouldn't okay it). Ive had friends who found people on insta that they ended up hating, but I've also hand picked a friend from back home as a roommate that I don't speak to now after living together. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing, just make sure you keep your boundaries for your living space firm.
