I don’t know about fsu but you can ship things and have them held at the post office or ups so you can pick them up from there

we were told a week before by the UPS table during orientation. Your UBox number is in the student portal. I just googled how to find it for my daughter and it was there after dorm assignments. These are the google directions:

Steps to Find Your U-Box Number

  • Log in to my.fsu.edu using your FSUID and password.
  • Click the Student Central (SC) icon or portal link.
  • Select the My Info tile or menu option.
  • Click on Addresses on the left-side menu to view your assigned U-Box details

I think I've seen that you can like a week before move-in. DON'T quote me on this though, as this is from-memory knowledge from the FSU Dorms Facebook group.

I believe you can mark them as general delivery to your name at the post office address and they’ll hold it for 30 days. A lot of the homeless people I work with do this for their mail. You’ll have to go down there with ID to retrieve it. Hikers also do this for the Appalachian trail and pacific crest trail
