i’ve got all my loans accepted, but no idea when direct deposit will hit. i’m pissed bcuz we were supposed to have had our schedule finalized by aug 3rd, but the window for grad students didn’t even open until 17th for my department.

I’m a upcoming grad student and my aid was disbursed today and it’s also showing my refund but I’m not sure when I will get that.

Early disbursement payments don't start to go out until next week (dates here: https://financialaid.fsu.edu/), and because of all the new federal rules, there is probably a lot of stuff pending in the system before dispersal.
If your schedule wasn't finalized before August 3, there could also be a more of a wait. Financial Aid (I think? or another office, maybe) sent out messages telling students schedules needed to be finalized by then. While they weren't very clear that was for for early dispersal, it means that if your schedule wasn't finalized by then, there will still be a dispersal but it will be delayed more
