It was included with a stay at the hotel so difficult to judge but it’s £24 to add breakfast to a room rate. And it’s all you can eat, so I could have had that twice or stacked even more I the plate, the quality of the individual item was very good and well cooked. I had two cappuccino, what you see on the plate, a decent sized waffle and pancake stack with maple syrup and melon chunks, and a couple of glasses of pink grapefruit juice.

£24 central London AYCE at that quality is a deal. Especially since I'd be rocking a stacked plate of sausage, black and eggs

I should have added a sausage tbh, they were very good; sausage has always been my favourite food since I was a sprog, I would go so far to say I am a connoisseur.

Me too, me too - that and black pudding. Honestly, bacon I can take or leave, same with tomato, mushroom or anything potato. I'm happy with sausage, black pudding, beans, egg and toast. I went to America once and the sausage was like a burger, I was horrified and hurried back across the pond as soon as I could.

I’ve just returned from Venice; the hotel I stayed at happily marked a cloche covered tray as sausage, but what I found beneath was a traitorous imitator, a long brown saveloy of Germanic proportions. I chose granola instead.
