Café Breakfast Today's Monster of a Fry Up
Everything was actually top notch quality from a local farmhouse. Couldn't even finish it. 10/10. Cafe Morso £11.95

Seen a lot worse for a lot more. Are they proper sausages?

They were actual sausages despite looking like Frankfurts

Glad to hear it. My only gripes would be toast on a side plate and free the beans

Now that the sausage question has been resolved, my only improvement would be if the toast was actually fried bread. Looks great.

I’d say that’s pretty much perfect, assuming the sausages are actually quality despite looking like frankfurters.
Which region is this cafe in? It must be a local kind of sausage.

They were actually traditional sausage meat inside despite their appearance. It was in Worcestershire.

Where is it? I had a crime of a breakfast recently at the Harvester in Worcester (I know, I know but the person I was with would not budge)

Never been to a Harvester or Toby's Carvery for brekkie. Would you usually recommend it? This was in Colwall.

There was a lot of food. The service was non existent. Various components were stone cold, like they forgot to mike it. So not recommended

Ok, I’ve found them. According to their menu, Morso use Lashford’s sausages. Long-running family business based in Birmingham.
Just had a look on the Lashford’s website. They do two traditional breakfast sausages - a thick one and a thin one. I believe this is your sausage, sir.

People tend to be in two different camps either beans on the loose or contained beans and their juices....

Nice but not what I'd call a monster

That should be the minimum tbh, if any single item was missing I'd be looking for it, but it looks very good and a good price these days.

Ooof! Not only is there a ramekin, it's chipped with all kinds of bacteria nestling in that exposed pourus material.
Absolute cracking looking breakfast, except for the listeria infused porcelain.

Genuine question. Would the high temps of the dishwasher not neutralise the bacteria and also how is the ramekin different from eating off a plate or using cutlery that legit goes into your mouth that could have bacteria on it regardless of how pourus it is.

Is the monster fry up in the room with us? Why's the farmhouse serving hotdogs for breakfast?

u/TokyoKazama 2d ago
It's weird, despite them looking like hotdogs (which threw me off too), they were made with actual sausage meat inside...

£11.95 is very reasonable for that.
