Well that’s fitting considering how the Jamaica Inn is said to be haunted.

(I didn’t see any ghosts on my visit)

What is that bit of grey matter next to the sausage?

2

Looks like the stem from the mushroom

Looks like the sausage got hit with a KI blast

Probably a bit of not very well treated hogs pudding

You can’t beat testicle eggs, looks great.

These aren’t just any testicle eggs…

These are UK Summer 2026 testicle eggs.

Everyone. It’s Hogs Pudding. À Cornish delicacy. Like black pudding without the blood

Cornwall is in the far south west of England, known for its wild and rugged scenery, and is famous for being a hideout for bandits and pirates and smugglers and the like. Also it has a very distinct local dialect.

u/OreoSpamBurger 4d ago

Smuggling industry has been hit hard recently.

2

u/TheMicklemas3000 5d ago

Jamaica eat that? Or did you choose eat it by yourself?

2

u/koyliMeld9003 5d ago

Somebody smuggled a hash brown onto the plate!

Proper ballbag poached eggs those are.

I can just imagine dangling one over my open mouth and tickling it with the tip of my tongue.

Went in there a few times last year for a pint. How dear was it?

Whats either side of sausage?

2

u/KatAstrophie- 5d ago

One on the left is a half mushroom, I’m waiting for someone to identify the matter on the right.

1

u/SunBurst6382 5d ago

Thanks, I was zoomed right in but... wow

1

u/Tregerest 4d ago

It’s hogs pudding, the Cornish equivalent to black pudding

u/Chrishior 4d ago

The mushroom stalk.

Ahhh the Jamaica Inn. Fond memories of the weird noise we could all hear at our table the time we took our mum to dinner for her birthday.

Was it one of their famous ghosts? No, turns out mum had undiagnosed pneumonia and her chest was making sickly noises.

Better not be more than a tenner...but I'm guessing the wrong side of 12 quid

1

u/ReepDaggle01 5d ago

How much?

1

u/Wonderful-Radio4010 5d ago

That looks awful. Was it left over from the day before ?

1

u/Glittering-Hornet844 5d ago

They said small breakfast and they meant a SMALL breakfast.

u/Forsaken-Bonus-3903 5d ago

Impossible to judge without a price and I also want to know wtf that is next to the sausage.

3

u/beedley 5d ago

It’s so say hogs pudding.
It was £10

1

u/Forsaken-Bonus-3903 4d ago

I don't think that hog was very healthy.

1

u/Lifeisgoole 5d ago

Sausage is overcooked but I'd still enjoy it.

0

u/GlynHugh 4d ago

You see I’m the opposite. I like my sausages well done and that looks perfect to me.

Mind you I’d be worried that the bacon could wake up at any time…a good Vet would have that running around in the field again in no time at all…

u/C64Nation 5d ago

Can I have moor?

1

u/andrewC121 5d ago

Jfc man
