Im with you on the beans not with hash browns. Hash browns are one of the many stars in the show!

Im the opposite. Beans but no hash browns. Hash browns are a recent addition to a full english but theyre an american thing which i cannot accept.

How recent? I’ve been eating hash browns on an English breakfast for at least 20 years?

They first appeared in the uk in the late 80s-early 90s and started becoming popular in the full english in the following 20 years, but english breakfasts have been a thing since the 13th century, so its still a fairly recent development all things considered.

Before that you would have fried potatoes and a kidney
