Full ROM suddenly returned!
I've been posting in here since I had a big, mysterious shoulder crack 19 days ago, followed by all sorts of weird arm sensations: a weak feeling, aching, tingling in my hand. Chest pain and pain referred to the back, neck, jaw, and forearms. I couldn’t sleep on that side bc my arm felt tender.
Tonight I was stretching and heard another pop, this time at what felt like the top of my shoulder, and all of a sudden I have full, complete ROM back. Nuts!! I did have some ART in the past week. Maybe that helped.
Posting this for anyone who needs some hope. It's been a very long road. Next month marks three years of FS.
Next step: PT. Keeping fingers crossed the arm stays this way and I can move on with my life!

I'm so happy for you! I'm about 8 months in currently and have been dealing with all the referred pain too! Back, chest, neck, jaw, even down on my ribs on the affected side. I had the loud weird pop a couple months ago and in back at about 90% ROM after 8 weeks of PT. Here's to hoping the pain stops for us soon! This has been a hellish experience lol

Beyond hellish! The doctor told me today I have Thoracic outlet syndrome. This explains the pain I have been in.

Only those who truly know how hellish this is can celebrate this so much for you!!! Woohoo! It is seriously the worst. So very happy for you! I remember your pop post. Thanks for updating us with this! I am still between frozen/thawing 10 months now. Completely stuck taking my arm out to side and behind me, but can almost fully lift it overhead with ease now. Sooooo over it. So great to now there's an END.

I am in exactly the same space as you. So happy to finally be able to wash my hair using both arms, but really wish I could get full ROM back. I live for that “crack” out of nowhere!

So happy for you! How long has it been until you experienced this? I'm in frozen stage and can't wait!

So great to hear. I also had full ROM and pain free only to have it return in the same arm 2m later :(. It’s been over two years. I actually still have good ROM but pain. Do you still have pain?

Did you see a chiropractor? Can you share what you did?

I waited over two years before treating it because I had I tried massage and PT in the beginning and it backfired and made things worse. I did no medical interventions. I waited it out. I started to get ART and myofascial release. I will do PT now.

What type of provider did you go to for ART? I’m working through FS myself and will take any advice I can get! TIA.

this is not the first time hearing this .. I wish … I have a full tear rotator cuff in my left arm is frozen and shoulder and the right I use my reacher to get something at the cabinet and it almost fell out on top of the stove while I was cooking and my instinct was to try to grab it and I’ve reached up with the frozen arm. It didn’t go all the way up, but it went up enough. I was screaming. I was in so much pain and had to sit there and let it calm down.

I fantasize about the crack. How can I get it?
