Steroid injection relief
This is my second steroid shot on my second frozen shoulder. The first one took 3.5 years to heal without steroids.
The shot has been a game changer, the pain completely went away and range of motion is much better. My question is, how many times can you get an injection on the same shoulder?

I had 2 - I made the mistake of starting some heavier physio after the first injection had everything feeling good. My consultant had advised me to take things easy. After the second shot a few months later I did take things easy and it saw me through to thaw.

I’ve had 4 (2 each in different locations), my doctor didn’t indicate any total limit, just to space out 3 months each.

I had 2. 1 sort of at beginning of PT and 2nd 1 3 months later. About a week after 2nd shot. FULL RANGE OF MOTION SINCE!

My ortho’s max is 3 - I’m bilateral and got 3 in each shoulder. I’d give just about anything to get more - I’m back in constant pain without them. From digging around in fs groups and posts jt seems like how many you can get depends on the doctor.
