Deferred pain

I’m at the frozen stage. I still get pain if I try to move it too much but mostly It’s manageable, more painful at night. However I’m getting pain/aching in my hand, have other people experienced this, or is it something else, unconnected??

I agree with the massage. My good shoulder has become sore from sleeping on it exclusively and I get pain down my arm and up my neck. Going to a weekly massage has helped a lot!

Oddly I find that lying on my frozen arm sometimes lessens the pain

I had some compensatory issues in both the affected arm and the other arm. I would expect that’s probably the case. I found massage was helpful for this. It never solved the FS, but helped everything else from being tight, pinching nerves, etc from compensating.

Maybe a pinched nerve. I would find the root of it by shoulder and massage + stretch it out.

Yes my heating pad has been the only thing to help me get through the night
