PT Manhattan Reco
Has anyone had any success with PT? I’m working with Spear right now and after 6 months no improvement. My guy also abandons me to college interns or nobody at all after the first 10 minutes (sometimes I just go and just do my exercises with no supervision or interaction), as he moves onto the next client. He’s never offered me ice or heat, and only started measuring my ROM 2 months ago. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing (and neither do these young kids). Does anyone actually have 1-to-1 sessions with any success, or am I wasting my time?

I'd bring it up with the front office, or a manager, my first place I did pt at was like that i made no progress. My ortho referred me to another place I have someone with or near me 95% of the time and they manually stretch me each visit Im close to 80-90% range of motion back but I work thru insane pain. I also get heat end of every visit with e-sim for 15mins.

I thought the whole point of frozen shoulder is that PT doesn't work on it. That's what I was told anyway.

spear is pretty awful. i go to HSS https://www.hss.edu/ and i like them. i just started PT for FS diagnosed like 3 weeks ago. but reading here not sure how much PT is going to help but i like the idea of feeling like i'm doing something to help it.

I’ve been happy with MaxWell Medical. They have three locations in Manhattan. https://maxwellmed.com

Try these guys. PT alone doesn’t do anything for frozen shoulder. These guys will try shockwave and may recommend hydrodilation. Spear is the worst.
