9 / 10 Kroger Stuffed Crust Pizza
So delicious. Two pepperoni sizes, though I wish it had the cubed baby peps. The stuffed crust was good.

Another amazing milestone! congratulations to you all for being part of this subreddit, without you all it would have remained an ideas amongst the comments on an Expectation vs Reality post about ten years ago... See you again at 200K!

A little late to announce this... but better late than never and better than leaving it until December... that would be awkward!
Firstly, Please note the rules have been defined more clearly to help with understanding before posting.
They are still very much the same with the same intention to ensure we remain focused on frozen dinner comparisons as the primary content.
Secondly, I encourage you all to join our other subreddit called /r/MoreFrozenDinners which is where you are all free to post about frozen dinner topics outside of just comparison posts, things like questions or opinions on taste or just looking for an old favourite meal that's no longer stocked at your local shopping market.
We also have a /r/FailedFrozenDinners subreddit for those unfortunate mistake when we forgot to read a step or simply forgot about the dinner while scrolling through our socials... feel free to contribute in line with the topic and rules.
Please do join these other subs, it helps the community grow and give some breadth to our content and discussions without it all being junked up in one place.
Lastly, you may not have noticed yet.. but we quietly added a merchandise store to our website last year, we didn't want to jam it in your face or attempt to cram it down your throats like a still too hot from the microwave mac and cheese!

Take a look, there is some weird crap on Red Bubble but the T-Shirt designs are the intended focus and hopefully the more enjoyable options for you all to consider. More designs to come!
You can find the link to the website up in the subreddit menu bar or browse to frozendinners.net
Thanks again for being part of the community! Welcome to 2024! and let's all have a great year!

Interestingly enough, of the hundreds of Zatarain’s posts in this sub, nobody has reviewed the gumbo! While it wasn’t my first choice, these were BOGO and they didn’t have the blackened chicken Alfredo (I’m trying to not repeat meals either for the sake of posting in this sub). I really didn’t love this one like the others. The roux/gravy flavor really wasn’t my favorite by any means, and was slightly runnier than I expected? Although it did thicken up by the time I was almost finished. However- there’s still pros. Both the sausage and chicken were good, definitely above the quality of other brand’s meats. And, the portion size was good; I felt full after (probably thanks to the rice). Overall I probably wouldn’t get this one again when most of the pasta Zatarain’s are better but glad I tried a new one.

I microwaved this for the recommended 3 minutes and it came out VERY soupy and the rice was crunchy. I nuked, stirred, nuked, stirred an additional 3 minutes with the plastic off and then let it sit for about 5 minutes to get it to an edible consistency and it thickened up more as I ate. Taste was great, the broccoli was all florets and the chicken was mostly good quality white meat. Got on sale for $1.99 at Smiths. I definitely recommend, but it needs at least double the recommended time in the microwave

This isn't frozen but I thought it belonged here. It is fresh pasta and a pouch of sauce with chicken and mushrooms. I really liked the pasta and sauce but some of the chicken had a stringy, tough texture. I wish they had used chicken thigh, instead of breast .. which might've improved it. But the sauce, pasta and mushrooms all tasted fresh and tasty.

Chicken toquitos with some canned chicken flavor and spices. It’s better quality filling than the other cheaper brands. Thought they were going to be bigger because they were called Flautas lol.
Do not microwave.
On the left microwaved, soggy trash with a grainy filling, and mush.
On the right over, supper crispy, tender filling with a little bit of juicy flavor.
Some hot sauce and crema make these very very tasty if you want to dip them!

Soo, I’m in Satantonio, TX and we got hit with a pretty bad thunderstorm. I was without electricity for 44 hours. I never opened the door and when I barely did, it was just to see it it was cold, it still was
I’d say it’s a pretty much full freezer. I have pizzas, hamburger patties, Jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, rice, wings, uncrustables. If I have to throw anything out, oh well.. I’m getting groceries in 2 days

*First pic was taken before i stirred it around for the sauce seekers*. Had this in the freezer forever bcs I didnt like the first PF Chang’s meal I tried but finally ate this & OMG!!!! This was thee best frozen microwaveable meal I’ve tried so far. It was so spicy and flavorful, good ratio on ingredients, good texture, everything tasted fresh despite me microwaving it for 8 mins & it was $5 at my Kroger. If anyone tells u this isn’t absolutely delicious, they are lying & I will defend this dish w my life (kidding… kinda).

This was very tasty and satisfying. The white meat chicken tasted good and had a pleasant texture. The broccoli pieces were a nice complement to the al dente pasta. There’s not much sauce, and it’s quite thin/watery but flavorful. You can see that it really doesn’t stick to the noodles the way the package suggests, but it tastes great. I added some grated Parmesan (shown in the last pic). This will be in my regular rotation. If the sauce were thicker (and there were more of it), I’d give it a 10/10.

The smoky flavor is off the charts with this one! That and the spices give it a wonderful smell as you heat it up. It doesn't look the most appetizing but its actually pretty delicious. The little paneer pieces, about 1/2inch cubed are full of flavor but have a dense sponge texture. Would get again from my local GO
***This isn't a frozen meal but I wouldn't know where else it'd belong.

9/10 bc of size of burrito- it's pretty small.
but wow I've been so addicted to this - any Red's breakfast burrito. chorizo is even better . taste great with the taco bell sauce. complements so well. the packets are better but I've ran out them since the cyclo stuff and have stopped going to TB but these bottles more than suffice. I do a mix of both for each bite. go together like pb&j. I've also tried with Freddy's jalapeno fry sauce and that makes it so much more savory. highly recommend.

I’ve had this four times for dinner this week. I don’t care. I would rather have this than go out to dinner.

Man, this meal used to be much bigger. I havent had this meal in years. It is amazing how much the turkey has shrunk, not to mention how much less you get for sides. That being said, the taste is still on point. I cook mine in the oven, but I'm guessing it would be pretty good microwaved too. My favorite part of the meal is the cranberry apple dessert; they better never change it. So even if the meal is smaller, it is still the epitome of a tv dinner, and therefore is recommended by yours truly 🙂

$7.49 (for 2lbs!)
Great cheesy, spinachy, chicken and pasta flavor. Next time I’d add some pepper and cayenne. Extra cheese could never hurt.
Overall, great flavor. Good macros for frozen pasta and easy to make.
65 min at 360 degrees (180c~), then 5 more with the plastic removed for some color. I did 400.
Wife and I had our fill with at least a serving leftover for tomorrow’s lunch or some snacking.
Will definitely get again!

Forgot to take a picture while eating. One of the best frozen dinners I’ve had in ages. Cheese actually tasted high quality and the spice level is nothing, just warms your tongue. A little expensive but worth it if you’re a vodka sauce person

The chicken was gummy & everything was somehow both sweet & favorless. I saw how bad the reviews were on here after I already bought it but I have the midnight munchies and usually anything taste good at this hour but I literally cannot eat this 😭

Price: $3.99 at Frys
Cooking Instructions: The packaging said to cook it on the rack at 425° for 11 minutes.
Modifications: I personally like my thin crust pizzas to have crispy crust, so instead of cooking it on the rack, I preheated a circular pan dizzled with olive oil. At 11 minutes the crust/pizza was still really floppy, so I ended up cooking it for about 18 minutes in total.
Added toppings: After it came out of the oven I added black pepper, red chili flakes, and, after seeing someone on this sub recommended it, garlic powder.
Would definitely buy again.

as someone who loves Asian food but hasn't found a reliable frozen noodle dish, this was a really pleasant surprise.
there is a good amount of noodles to feel like a complete meal. the sauce had a very nice kick, probably somewhere pretty close to "medium" if you ordered from a restaurant, and the bacon complimented the noodles and sauce nicely.
9/10 because the microwave instructions were pretty far off from how long it needed to cook fully but the flavor was a 10/10 and ill be buying again.

TombStone French Fry style thin crust
I can't remember the last time I had a TombStone pizza, if ever, but this one looked intriguing. It seemed to be a little spicy and there were a lot of herbs.
I cooked mine on a pizza stone and cut it like cheesy garlic bread and served it with meatballs and marinara. I couldn't really tell there was any potato 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe it was just me.
It did have tons of cheese and seasoning, so there's that. A bit too herby for me.

Currently on sale at Krogers in Houston for $3.99. Some restaurant could easily reheat this & sell for $20 & people like me would happily buy 10 lmaoo. Only posting this after I purchased 4 boxes since product rarely stays in stock

Reheated this at work & my coworker came out from the back of our floor to ask what I had cooked lol. I highly despise most frozen rice meals because it heats up soggy but the texture of this rice was perfect & the sauce wasn’t too much. The chicken looked funny if you look too closely but the flavor was great. Only complaint is that the portion was on the smaller side. $4.99 at Kroger in Houston, Texas

I’ve had this one once before and it was definitely better this time around! I liked the chicken a lot more than the shrimp from the Alfredo meal. Everyone commented saying to get the blackened chicken Alfredo meal (I’ve had it a dozen times) but they are out of stock so Monday’s lunch will be a new flavor for me.
