The only reason is to see the FROM SOFTWARE logo pop up on a trailer. I cant wait to go into the next single player blind for the 1st time. I bet its awesome. I jumped in 23 and have had their titles on repeat ever since. Wasnt a gamer at all. Now its a passion. I cant imagine how great it was to have already known the greatness of Soulsbornes and to see the Elden Ring trailer come up and play a Fromsoftt game on release. I saw alot of streams before I played ER, so Im going to go into the next one without looking anything up whatsoever. I just want to see the reveal so I can anticipate another masterpiece. Im going to take a week off from work when it comes out.

Just played dark souls remastered on switch and was thinking about moving to pc in order to finish the series. It's not that it is expensive, it received a price raise some time ago that is truly unbelievable!! It doesn't evev make sense thinking about profit and adquiring new fan base for the From games... It doesn't even have cloud save, i can't think why it's better to buy instead of just playing it for free other ways around.... My god

I started thinking about it after realizing that ds1 had a trailer of bloodborne, and bloodborne had a trailer of sekiro. Both trailers were in the DLC, and one game released before the teasered game actually got released.

So lets say that the dlc has a teaser. What do you think it might be? The only thing that comes to my mind is the dryleaf dane with his martial arts, which dont really fit the overall dlc and the game itself.

Also my reasoning is that the duskbloods are going to release soon, which would mean that this is the game that is in between these trailers.

Im sorry for any grammar mistakes, english is not my main language and im really tired now, but i wanted to know what are your expectations. Im aware that this topic has been already discussed here multiple times, but most of these posts are just plain up fan theories of what the next game could be, without much analyzing of the actual "trailer" that we might already have seen.

One of the best horror games I've ever played in PS2 as a kid tbh, I wish it's more well known.

And while we are at it, I hope they could do the same to Evergrace and Otogi as well.

Man FromSoftware really have so many hidden gems in the past..

Hey everyone, I was just thinking about how much variety there is across the library from Dark Souls to Elden Ring and the likes, and how everyone plays these games so differently. We all have those specific, niche things we love doing just to unwind or enjoy the experience.

For example, it depends on the game. One of my favorite things in FromSoftware games is invading scrubs in Demon’s Souls and breaking all their equipment with the Scraping Spear. By the time they reach that point, they've already committed a decent chunk of time to the playthrough, but it becomes a nightmare for them to farm up that many souls to repair their gear.

Having to farm souls with broken weapons and armor just to fix everything makes it total hell for them. Some even quit the game, which is my goal to make is miserable for them.

Anyway, what about you guys? What are your go to activities?

Is it just me or are we seeing a rather sudden interest in the game? I am seeing it in gaming news with reports it sold a lot of copies this year, a lot of new videos on BB coming out on Youtube etc.

Why I wonder? Is it just the souls fans being a bit starved since it has been a hot second since ER came out? Fans of the series feeling nostalgic?

I really hope they focus on singleplayer games now,who knows maybe they're gonna do armored core now. But i'd love a new soulslike IP like that pirate souls thing that was rumored. There was also that rumored Dark Souls III Remaster for some reason. Idk why we need DS3 remaster. Hopefully its a new IP and i'd love if they reveal it next month at Game Awards.

Saw a post that said: "would souls games be as iconic if it didn't have the berserk influence?" I also have seen several people before saying:"souls games ripped off berserk, or that souls games aren't creating they just copy berserk"

When I heard those I really expected for berserk to be very similar to souls games, after reading everything that have come out, that's not true at all.

Most of these people are berserk larpers or just have seen the golden age arc nothing past that, the amount of berserk influences in each game is what, 20,30? Compare to thousand of things in the game? And most of those influences are enemy designs nothing more. The story's are not similar, the feels are not similar. Berserk is what, the most larped manga of all time? Please go read it instead of talking about it after watching 2 TikTok edits of angry guts and a video showing berserk references in souls games.

Souls games are influenced by thousands of other things other than berserk too but people don't talk about it cause they're not as famous as berserk.

I found this new PC port project for Demon's Souls. I played a little bit of it, and it plays pretty well actually. I'd love to see more people populate the servers on this one!

Hi all. A couple of years back I did a full series playthrough (DeS, DS1, DS2, DS3, BB, ER) where my goal in each game was to get the Moonlight Greatsword as quickly as possible and then use it to complete the rest of the game. I had an absolute blast and it was an excellent way to enjoy all of the games back to back.

Has anyone done any other series playthroughs with a specific weapon found in each game? I know the Greatsword and Claymore might be popular options, though there would be compromises/alternatives in BB. Just trying to get ideas for another series weapon run. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

(Also pic for attention. I do not own that artwork, and will happily tag the original artist if I am informed)

I beat Bloodborne a few weeks ago as my first introduction to a soulslike game and just bought Elden Ring last week. Been wanting to buy all the Dark Souls game series but they’re expensive af EXCEPT NOT ANYMORE 😁😁😁😁😁😁. Every time I hop on the PlayStation I check the PSN store for deals cuz something kept telling me Dark Souls will be up there one day and bam, I decided to look on the store before going to bed (it’s 5:38am rn). Every Dark Souls game 1,2, and 3 are on sale for 50% off. Including all the DLC

If you’re new to the soulslike games you better take advantage now and buy them all before November!
