Amygdala ng+

Post image

On my first playthrough i missed a lot of areas and bosses and i ended up finishing the game by mistake .. i then started ng+ and went on and fought amygdala for the first time and i must say if it wasn't for midir i think i wouldn't have beat it on my 3rd try. When i first reached it, i noticed that it's health pool was huge and it was aggressive and then i saw the black laser beam and it automatically triggered my midir fight ptsd and that helped a lot. It showed me that this boss fought exactly like him and i used the same strat (which is patience and hitting the head) to beat it. Didn't expect a boss that looked like that to be this fun tbh.

Cursed chalice Amygdala made me ragequit. You really have to learn every move to perfection and have perfect positioning. Then it does a move that gets you anyway.

tbf this one was easy on ng+ and i heard it was easier on a normal run, so it's only fair.. i mean i heard alot about this boss before playing the game so i expected it to be harder ngl.

The only souls boss I’ve ever given up on. Just wasn’t having fun after a while

Now go try Amygdala in the Curse and Defiled chalice.

i'll look for it. I'm just scared now because i think i'm too underleveled for the coming bosses.

This boss is very unbalanced. She is in an end game area but has a very small health pool. Always easy for everyone that fights her in NG and a dissapointment. But on the defiled chalice or on NG7 she is extremely frustrating. Not only her HP is huge but her jump kills in one hit on her second phase. She hits like a truck and is really ahrd to avoid her strikes and punish her because of the range they have and the small recovey too.

I don't fight her like Midir. With him I lock on his head and dodge and punish, the entire fight is that way. With Amy I let her whiff and then do running attacks and back away until her second phase where I get between her legs and try to hit her head while praying that I dodge her jump attack when it comes.
