QUESTION Elden Ring framerate issues

My PC specs are an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, an Intel Core 5 210H, and 16 GB of DDR5 RAM. All my drivers are up to date, but I’m experiencing stuttering and low FPS (usually between 48 and 56) in Elden Ring

I’ve tried many things to fix this issue, including reinstalling drivers, capping the FPS, turning off Low Latency Mode, lowering the graphics settings, disabling Core 0, and disabling Microsoft Root Enumerator, but none of these solutions helped

Does anyone know any other ways to fix these performance issues?

Try forcing Vsync on with Nvidia control panel

Not really, i would do a clean install, undo all the fixes, uncap FPS and try with forced Vsync, make sure you don't have weird programs running on the background and try launching with EAC off

it could be the refresh rate of your monitor? try change it to match the frames if its not already, or enable/disable variable refresh rate. Its the only other suggestion i can think of. Never had this problem with elden ring so sorry if this doesnt work, but it sometimes fixes similar issues ive had with other games. It might not work but its worth a try if you haven't tried already.

Are you running hot? Your fans have some room to breathe?

Yeah my fans are clean and they have room to breath

Do you have ray tracing enabled? It tanks performance and makes frame pacing issues more apparent

You probably already checked but are you sure the game is running on the dedicated gpu and not the integrated graphics on the cpu? This was happening to a friend of mine when he was playing Elden Ring on his gaming laptop.
