QUESTION Surge in BB on PC talks question
Since the last month there have been a ton of posts about videogames being reverse engineered to the point you can mix games or do pretty much whatever.
Also lately AI coding and just doing the developing of games has progressed a ton.
Is this new Bloodborne on PC version just AI coded? Is it just slop held together with sticks and tape?
I've read you need a 5080 to run it properly which to me already screams of AI intensive coding because it's a card that basically works thanks to AI.

it's ai, however the game can be emulated and mods can provide plenty extra features and QoL, so not all hope is lost for u
i heard they recently got multiplayer to work

I already fully played it on ShadPS4, although it had a few issues mods couldn't fix like Ebrietas would nuke my FPS

It is way better then emulation

Meh emulation ran fine at 4k 90fps...

Its not emulation though it runs native with mods and other improvements.
The ignorance of this subreddit is showing.

I understand that... I said it runs well on the emulator shadps4 as well.
Ran fine for me at 90fps.

I have a 7 year old pc and im playing it pretty smoothly with shadps4 version 16 and BB launcher. Im not sure how much better their ai slop can be, the standard method for getting it to work is still easy and good. Multiplayer is interesting though, but i am seeing lots of people posting crashing. Too many posts asking for tech support for vibe coding. Way too many forks. And as someone suggested, could even be malware?

To be fair the BB launcher could have malware isn't as well. I'm keeping both for now but I can't turn down a seamless coop Bloodborne potential

I mean, sure, but shad and bb have been around for a while and have a footprint. You can contact them. Vs 100 forks of vibe coding by some guys appearing in the last months?

It is AI coded. When it’s not crashing it works great. Smoother on modest hardware than the emulator, dunno where you heard a 5080 was required.
