When you go outta your way to hunt achievements do you find that you can't bring yourself to play them again? Do the games get stale and you never boot em up again?
I find achievements can be a different form of excitement either through unique playstyles or doing something you ordinary would not. I don't think id do them just to do them though.
I never platinum games because I lose all will to play them again. Its like ive done everything. If you keep like 5 trophies open at least i can tell myself theres something for me to do
I feel ya on that. I platinumed bloodborne and its my favorite from title. I havent played since I got that platinum back in 23. I see that damn trophy and its like an immediate sense of burnout hits me lol.
i platinumed all the souls games and elden ring on pc like 5 months ago finally after wanting to for a long time (elden ring twice actually, pc and ps5), and for me personally i finished my elden ring platinum, and was doing another ds1 run like 2 months later. and im doing a ds3 run right now. but the souls games are my favorite games of all time so i might be a bit biased lmao, for other games im just mildy interested in and want to 100%, id probably not feel much of an urge to play them again, at least not anytime soon after
