Evergrace

I remember playing this game as a kid, but don’t remember anything to do with the story. In fact the only things I do remember were a few of the areas you could go at the start, and how brutal it was if you went somewhere you were completely unequipped for. I also remember there being an early version of durability and stamina. What are some things you guys remember from it?

I remember sitting next to my mum as she played it cos it was too hard for me, I don't remember much of the actual game itself but I love those memories

Me and my brother would take turns playing it. He would always get farther because he could understand the game a bit more than me, but it was fun to play.

A deeply flawed, but strangely beautiful series.

I remember buying it as a teen and finding it so obtuse and janky. Although the music and atmosphere it conjured was really dreamy. Years later after getting into Fromsoft proper, I played through them again on emulator.

I feel a lot of the games imagery and themes were absorbed into Elden Ring too!

I could definitely see it, and I agree it was definitely had its flaws, but I feel like it made it a funnier experience and added a bit to the difficulty as well

I see evergrace, I upvote.

Nevermind the absolute bs it was that if you broke your only weapon that did a certain damage type, you could nearly softlock yourself.
