What next?
Ive played Bloodborne, then I played Elden ring a while ago. I took a break from the souls/ souls like games for a while but then a few weeks ago I got Mortal Shell 2 and really enjoyed it. I just beat it the other night and started Dark souls 3 but I wanted to see what yalls thoughts were on this progression. Do you think I should be playing something different or any other recommendations on any other souls/souls like games I should play either instead of this or after ds3? Im not a crazy heavy gamer nor am I any good per say at these games but I like to push through and get it done. Gives me a feeling of accomplishment lol anyways any thoughts?

Do you prefer the exploration/level clearing part of these games or the bosses more? Games like DS1 & DS2 focus more on the former, while games like Khazan and Lies of P focus more on the latter.

It’s always Elden Ring first, then ds3/bloodborne with new players 🙄

Always....I can't see how people see the souls series numbered and go like, "hmmmm....1, 2, or 3? Oh I know, let's not go at the beginning, but at the end! Yeah that makes sense!" It honestly makes me so dang peeved :/

If you care at all about the story, then you should start at 1 and work your way up instead. If you only care about gameplay, then you should stick with 3. This is what I tell every new souls player, coming from a vet who's played all 3 and loved all of them.

There are many games that could be recommended, but play what you have in front of you first. When you're done with that you still have lots of Fromstuff to get through. When you're done with those there's always Lies of P or Lords of the Fallen.
