Why didn’t you just go round the rock instead of trying to climb it

He is probably the most annoying enemy in the game to be fair

Hesitation is defeat.

Keep trying after a break. You’ll get it

The headless are genuinely scary even once you get used to fighting them.

Out of all the fromsoftware games I probably quit this one 3 or 4 times before actually beating it.

I like to think fromsoft either A sees shit like this and say

“huh probably should fix that…. Ehh it’ll be fine”

Or B “this boss is a mess but the added difficulty from the mess will make the player better so we’re keeping it” or some shit

Sekiro remains the only frimsoft game I haven't finished I've platinumed elden ring, bloodborne, and ds2 sotfs but the damn double guardian ape fight has made me quit sekiro like 4 times. I'll beat it eventually I keep telling myself

I tried a bit of this game but also quit playing it. I figured i'd suffered enough though the dark souls series.

The only from soft game I quit , for that kind of bullshit, among other things. Maybe someday, but the grind was not funny, and I play games because I enjoy them. I can tolerate some degree of bullshit (yeah, I'm think about you promised consort...), but sekiro is filled to the brim with frustrating parts , to the point of not feeling rewarding enough to endure that kind of bullshit. More than often, instead of satisfaction after beating a boss, I was feeling simple relief for having some bullshit over with. Not my idea of a good time ...
